… they made their own additions to the cult rules.
"The Best Moments And Most Repeatable Lines From The Kickass ‘Always Sunny’ Season 10 Finale"
It was the role he was born to play it that he had very few lines and he set himself on fire.
Dax Shepard is actually pretty awesome. He was pretty consistently the best part of Parenthood, which was a damn good show.
I wouldn’t have a clue because I would never watch something called parenthood.
Also I’m assuming it’s on network TV and I don’t watch network TV unless it’s sports related.
Another good way to make a decision. You sound like a very reasonable person.
“Where do I put my feet?” was a hilarious callback to the last time Dee used that machine.
The fire, Charlie being captioned, the space turtle over the credits… callbacks all over the place!
More shows need shit sandwiches. By more, I mean all.
Dennis has been old school Dennis the past 2 episodes. The Depth of schemes are awe-inspiring.
Is this the first time the Gang has been directly responsible for a death on the show (besides Cricket’s almost certain death before the end of the series)?
It seems. And it’s sorta off-putting. I mean, they directly murdered someone and ALL just walked away. No implication. No reaction. No longer is Dennis the only one that toys with psychopathy. It sorta ruined a lot of the running jokes.
Frank caused the paralysis or possible death of the female fighter in “Hundred Dollar Baby” and just ran away. Also Charlie and Mac could have gotten Mac’s dad killed this season, not sure how that whole situation ended up.
They left the boxer thing with her being paralyzed, sure. But that was accidental.
Charlie and Mac MAY have gotten his dad killed. But I doubt that. He’s too wily.
This was a direct result. Dennis told someone to burn themselves alive in his apartment. And he did. And they just shrugged and left. That just takes all the “implications” completely out of the situations they are in, especially in the future. I mean, now we know they are capable of completely, horrifically killing people. Where is there to go?
@Billy Yellowcorn You do realize they nailed a door shut and left people in Dennis and Mac’s apartment to burn, right?
Hugh is correct (and I am liking the theme of burning apartments in the season finales).
Also worth noting that Jojo was eating paint chips earlier in the episode. Dude was not long for this world.
They are all horrible people have been from season 1. I don’t think there is any sort of issue as to where they will go from here. They will continue to be horrible and it will continue to be funny.
Yes, but they showed ALL those people alive in the next season. They didn’t kill them off in the credits.
Had they already been renewed for more seasons when they shot this episode? Maybe it was written as a possible ending. “The Gang finally straight up watches a guy burn to death.”
Didn’t they leave a crack whore hooker dead in a hallway?
@Dcrech Yes they did. But that who-er caused her own demise. She would have probably OD’d whether she had met the Gang or not.
Incoherent Subtitled Charlie might be my new favorite Charlie.
I didn’t like this episode. To me the great thing about Sunny is that the gang always walks a fine line between being sociopathic assholes that are just funny enough to sort of root for and just sociopathic assholes that you want to see die in a fire, instead of killing other people in fires. I thought that they were on the wrong side of the line pretty much the entire episode, especially Frank.
I dunno, it doesn’t bother me because I don’t think you were ever supposed to root for them. I think people just have this switch engaged that says that if a character is the star you must be at least kinda rooting for them (see the people defending Walter White on Breaking Bad til the very end despite him being *designed* to be totally unlikeable by that point). They’re all horrible people with basically no redeeming value and I’m glad to see the Gang hasn’t softened that in a full decade.
I guess for me the real turn off was Frank and the shit sandwich. Sunny’s better than that.
But look, as long as they keep doing things like Charlie and the ‘True Detective’ tracking shot tribute I’m going to be watching.
shit sandwich was one of the better gags of the episode for me, it cracked me up
so-so episode for me, not a dud but not great… but this season as a whole has been tremendous
I agree, I really don’t know how they could have topped “Charlies Work”… Great season overall!
Was pretty disappointed by this episode mainly for the fact it just wasn’t that funny – barely made me laugh once.
Some nice callbacks though to things like Fight Milk, Wolf Cola and the return of Rex
Sure, everyone cares about Jojo but no one voices any concern for Cindy’s neck?!?! SAVAGES, all of you!!!! Poor thing didn’t even get time in the healing tub.
Thank you! Why are we even concerned with anything else about this episode?
Is it weird that I didn’t even think twice about the whole “murder” thing? Is that an indictment of me or the show?
Dax Shepard was absolutely just playing his character from Idiocracy.
