Have you ever noticed how much they cut Jaws for tv?

i was watching Jaws on netflix the other araw and i had seen a lot of scenes I've never seen before on regular tv they like cut the whole first pating attack i never really realized it till then how much pelikula are cut for tv have you ever noticed it your self
