End of Chapter 33
"Let's go." Alice sinabi as she looked around the room, thinking about Bella and how lonely she was in this room.
"Wait, what about me?" The man asked.
"He does have a point, as soon as we are gone he will call them and tell them we are on the way." I sinabi as I quickly thought of our options.
"What will we do?" Alice asked.
"We don't have a lot of options." I sinabi as I frowned. "We have to do this Alice."
"No. I will not be part of someone hurting a human for no reason." Alice sinabi as she stood up and walked between us.
I was about to argue with Alice, to try and plead that this was the only way...that we had to kill him, we couldn't take any chances. When I took a step closer I heard the sound of footsteps running down the hall, I knew we only had a few segundos before someone burst through the door. I looked at Alice who was shrugging, her face angry because she had somehow missed others being in the castle. I reached out, taking her hand in mine as we both lowered our selves into fighting stances as the door began to open.
Chapter 35
As the door opened the man with the curly hair got to his feet, grabbing the sword from the floor as he took his own stance susunod to the door. I looked over at Alice, suddenly afraid because of the fact that she was not the only one who missed their being other people in the castle.
I had never had a time when I couldn't hear the thoughts of people on the other side of a door, I always took it for advantage...my gift. But now that the door was starting to open, and I had no way of knowing what their intentions were I felt lost.
"I'm sorry Alice." I sinabi softly as I squeezed her hand.
"Me too." She sinabi as she looked at me and smiled quickly before returning all of her focus on the door.
The door opened and we were all surprised to see no one on the other side. I looked at Alice who shrugged and started inching her way towards the door when she suddenly shot up right, her eyes wide in surprise.
I looked at her as I scanned her thoughts, gasping when I realized that she knew who was coming and it was not someone who would attack us or harm us in any way.
"Really?" I asked as I looked at her.
"Yes." She sinabi as she grinned and looked at the man sa pamamagitan ng the door. "I would drop that if I were you."
"Why would I? My help is here, you two will pay." He threatened.
"Ok, don't say we didn't warn you." I sinabi as I smiled.
He was about to ask what I was talking about when Jasper stepped through the door way, his eyes only on Alice until he saw the man with a sword facing Alice and I.
The man turned quickly to see Jasper walking towards him, Jazz's eyes only focused on the sword in his hands. The man started backing up, begging for help or forgiveness..saying he never intended to hurt anyone.
"Jasper, stop." Another voice called from the hall.
Jasper stopped stalking the man, but never took his eyes off of the man who was now cowering susunod to a dresser.
"Alice, did he hurt you?" Jasper asked, a deep growl starting as soon as he stopped talking.
"I'm fine Jazz." She sinabi as she started walking to him, wrapping her arms around him as soon as she got close enough. Her thoughts only about how much it hurt her to be away from him.
"Edward?" Esme's voice called from the door way.
I looked up, never so glad to see my family filing into the room. I knew that I should be upset because they had promised to continue looking for the clues, but I was glad they came after us.
Esme walked to my side followed sa pamamagitan ng Carlisle who walked over and hugged me, his thoughts about how he hoped that I would understand why they had to come.
I think that everyone had forgotten about the man with the curly hair until I heard Emmett laugh as he reached out and grabbed the man as he was about to try and leave.
"Who's this?" Emmett asked, a huge smile stretched across his face. "Did we miss all the fun?"
"Emmett." Rosalie warned as she stepped susunod to him, her eyes wide on the main in Emmett's hands.
"Everyone was gone when we got here, we didn't even know he was here until he came charging in." I sinabi as I thought of something. "Carlisle, is there a way that someone could make it so that our powers wouldn't work?"
"You couldn't hear him?" Carlisle asked, worried that something might be wrong with me.
"No, I couldn't hear him or you when you came in. Alice never saw him entering, and as far as I know she didn't know you were here until she pagtunaw Jasper." I sinabi as I smiled at her.
"Alice, have you had any visions since you entered the castle?" Carlisle asked.
"No, none since we left you." She sinabi as she hugged Jasper tighter.
"Interesting, I wonder how they are blocking your powers." He wondered as he walked away, touching the bricks that made up the walls.
"Umm Emmett, you might want to let him go before he goes unconscious." Rosalie sinabi as she looked at the man.
"I have a tanong for him." Jasper sinabi as he turned and stalked towards the man that Emmett was lowering to the ground. "Are you alone in this castle?"
"No." The man sinabi between his teeth.
"How many others are there?"
"About 100 I believe." He sinabi as he glared at Emmett.
"Where are they?" Esme wondered.
I saw the man's thoughts, there were clusters of soldiers that ranged from six to ten stationed through out the entire castle. Apparently they were waiting for the rest of the family to arrive before attacking.
I blinked and saw the man grinning at me, his eyes s squinted as he glared. "Now we can begin." He sinabi as he tried to run, forgetting that Emmett stood there waiting for him to try something.
Emmett's arm flashed out as he knocked the man to the ground, his head bouncing off of the floor. Carlisle moved up quickly, fingers going to the man's neck as he checked for a pulse...which would not be found.
"Oops." Emmett sinabi as he walked into the room, stepping over the body. "I didn't mean to do that, I just meant to stop him."
"Emmett, it was an accident." Rosalie sinabi as she comforted him.
I was about to say something when I heard the thoughts of someone coming down the hall. Their thoughts excited about how pleased the leader would be when 'The Cullens' were taken care of.
I moved as fast as I could, moving the body so that I could close and block the door with a dresser. Everyone turned to look at me, wondering what could have happened that would cause me to react like this.
"They're coming." I sinabi as I lowered myself into a fighting stance, shivering slightly as I saw everyone else do the same.
