Cassidy's POV
I was asleep in my be, when I poked my head up to look at the clock. 7:28, January 4. I sighed, got up and walked to the door. I locked it. But with my luck, the lock was boken. I went back to bed. In about 2 minutes, someone tried to open the door.
"Why's it locked?" Called the brittish voice identified as only Sarah Watson, my best friend.
"Because, I'm still sleeping!" I called back.
Sarah gave a sigh and wlked off. I burried my head under mypillow, drowning out the small "Tick tock, tick tock" coming from my clock. oh, how I hate that sound. I feel like there's a time bomb under my bed.
Anyhow, several minutos later, Sarah came back. However, this time, she brought someone to take the door down.
Sarah began throwing hot pancakes on my face.
"Get up, or I'll pour the syrup in your hair." she said.
"Alright! I'm up!!!" I yelled, pulling the covers off my head. I pulled on my "Keep Calm And Eat A Cupcake" shirt, jeans and kulay-rosas and yellow tenis shoes.
I headed to the kitchen, where everyone was talking about something. As usual, I ignored everything anyone sinabi and trudged toward the fidge where I grabbed a soda. After that, I went out side. I shook the can as hard as I could, nd chucked the bottle over the side of the bounty, where it exploded in midair. I couldn't help but laugh. I pag-ibig seeing things explode. Sometime later, I was in the training course, but i was interrupted.
"Cassie!!!!!!!!" Sarah called. I walked into the dining room, expecting everyone to jump out and yell "Surprise!!!" but instead, They were all waiting for me, Sarahholding something behind her back.
"Haappy brithday!!!" She said, pulling out a cake about the size of a baseball cap. there was absolutley no icing, except fr the words "Happy Birthday, Cassidy!"
"Thats it? That's the whole cake?" Cole asked.
"Yesh. and no." Sarah said. "Dis one's for our famil tradition."
I cautiously walked up and scraped of the icing in my name. Then, all of a sudden, i got my face shooved in the cake. I came up with tsokolate all over my face.
"Both traditions." Sarah sinabi deviously. She then put a huge cake on the table. This one had a bunch of icing.
"Yush!!!" I said.
Sarah cut me a peice and I stuffed it in my mouth whole. If there's one thing Cole beats me at though, it's cake. He had arlead scarfed down almost half the cake. Oh well, I still cream him at dancing. >:)
As I was eating, Sarah shover my face into my cake again, and I did the same. she looked stunned, but then threw a peice of cake my way. Wich I avoided, so it hit Zane instead. Now she looked truley petrified. But i laughed at both their faces. Zane's was covered in frosting and Sarah's looked like she had a gun pointed towrd her. Soon, the miss-thrown cake peice turned into a full out pagkain fight. Around 12:00, I headed into my room, ready to listen do nothing but read a book. All of a sudden there was a knock on the door.
"Open!" I called. Sensei Wu walked in.
"Oh, uh, Sensei. I, um- I didn't-" I stuttered.
"It's okay. I just came to give you this." He handed me a box wrapped in white paper and with a red bow.
"Oh, you didn't have to." I said.
"I did. i figured what beter way to give you a suit than today." He said.
"What?" I asked.
"Open it." He said.
I tore the paper off and threw it aside. i lifted the tuktok off a box.
"Awesome!!!" I said.
Inside, there were five shiny, polished, sharp throwing knives, a grey ninja suit, and agrey mask with silver details. There was also a sketch of me in the suit without the mask. 'Cassie Jones, Grey Ninja of Awesomness. -and light.'
"Sarah drew that. She insisted. and that-" he pointed to the suit and mask,"Is for you to where while training."
"Tr- Training?" I aksed.
"You are finally ready to become a ninja." Sid Sensie Wu.
"Awesome." I houted."Hang on." I spinjitsued into my suit without the mask and ran down the hall.
I stood in the doorway to Sarah's room, standin in the same pose as the picture.
she finally noticed me and stopped drawing a picture, which I could see was a half finished group picture. She was just drwing in Nya.
"Congrats!" she said.
"Well, same to you. He sinabi he was giving you your suit tommorow." I lied.
"Really?" she asked.
"no." i sid and ran into my room, locking the door. from then on, I read a book, and went to bed. Thats how my birthday went. :3

Okay, so this is something I see a lot on fanfiction sites. I've always wanted to do one for myself, just to see if it works out.
So, you request a character (and a plot, if wanted) and I write a reader-insert one shot about him/her!
(A reader insert is a story where the reader gets to be a part of the action. ie, instead of putting an actual name or eye and hair color, the may-akda would write [name], [hair color], or [eye color]. Lie this: [Name]'s beautiful [favorite color] outfit went well with her [hair color] hair.)
So, I wanted to do this for Ninjago! Just comment what character, theme, plot, setting. Really, all you have to put is a character, but just put the other stuff if you want.
