when they were just friends I really like them , for example in S2 & beginning of S3 ,because you knew there wouldn't be more , but i actually hated them in S4 :/

Most of the time, I looove their friendship. Like in season 2 and 3. But I hated it in season 4.

It's not one of my favorite friendships on the show, but it's also not one of my least favorites. There are some great friendship scenes between them, and others I think are only alright.

They have a lot of things going for them that could make them great friends (that works for friendships but doesn't always work for romantic relationships)- their love of similar literature and music and their broody personalities... but I just felt like sometimes the chemistry and connection was there, and other times it wasn't. Which is why they aren't my favorite friendship on the show (but I still do like them as friends many of the time).
