Chapter 1

I was sleeping alone at night in one of the rooms of my grandfather's huge house. It was raining and there was thunder and lighting. I tossed and turned in the covers. it was a little difficult to sleep that night, even with my sex book to keep me company, and boy was it cold! I wandered the room searching for the remote for the A/C unit, nowhere. Eventually I found myself dozing under the covers, it was probably very late.

Suddenly, I was woken up sa pamamagitan ng my parents. "Louis!" they sinabi "Louis" it's time to get up to go to school. There was melancholy in the tone of my mother's voice, it...

He walked out into school and could feel the eyes of hatred piercing his soul. He wanted to run and hide; but he held his ground and kept walking. He had to get to class; he had to survive the day. And then he would be free.

It was the araw of the grade twelve graduation. He had opened up about being gay the araw before when his boyfriend had proposed to him; but his so-called "friends" all treated the couple like shit afterwards. So now he walked in the halls alone; his fiance in the hospital; suffering from the painful blows from his peers.

He stepped into the classroom and his teacher pulled...

I am Pagsulat this letter to the New York Senate. Could you help me edit it or give any advice? Do you think I was too rude about it? Thank you.

Here is the letter:

To the New York Senate,

I am completely and utterly ashamed that you have voted down the same-sex-marriage bill on December 2nd of 2009. It is not only unjust, it is not only morally wrong, and it is not only discrimination against a minority just because they are slightly different. It goes against several laws and rights of the United States of America.

By denying same-sex-marriage, you are not only denying these couples a pamagat of...

Lately on Fanpop, I've been noticing a lot of people wondering if they are gay or bisexual, in particular. They ask if certain behaviors or feelings they have make them gay or bi.

But really, asking other people to tell you whether or not you are gay or straight is nearly impossible. They can't be inside your head and go through what you do every day. It's up to you to figure that out on your own!

If that leaves you feeling overwhelmed, don't panic! Sexuality is an exciting and often confusing journey, only to be uncovered sa pamamagitan ng you! If I've learned anything from going through years feeling straight,...

I met this girl maybe a buwan before Valentines araw and I always talked to her. Everyday. About almost everything. She was everything I looked pasulong to when I got tahanan from school or putbol practice. Then I began to realize I was falling for her. And I guess it was my first experience with feeling real pag-ibig for someone. My puso literally ached for her. Meanwhile, I had another friend that I had known longer. We were pretty tight. She was a lesbian also but I saw her as a sister. We were all talking and such about things and I was very well aware of the fact that the girl I liked had a boyfriend....

I hugged a man in his underwear. I think Hesus would have too.

I spent the araw at Chicago’s Pride Parade. Some mga kaibigan and I, with The Marin Foundation, wore shirts with “I’m Sorry” written on it. We had signs that said, “I’m sorry that Christians judge you,” “I’m sorry the way churches have treated you,” “I used to be a bible-banging homophobe, sorry.” We wanted to be an alternative Christian voice from the protestors that were there speaking hate into megaphones.

What I loved most about the araw is when people “got it.” I loved watching people’s faces as they saw...

15.) To hide myself from everyone else.

WHO WOULDN'T WANT ALL THAT! (:

Who would CHOOSE this!?

Being GAY is NOT a CHOICE.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear two cases concerning marriage rights for same-sex couples. In one, United States v. Windsor, the court could determine whether the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) violates the constitutional rights of same-sex couples. The other, Hollingsworth v. Perry, tackles Proposition 8, California’s ban on gay marriage that voters narrowly passed in 2008.

Yahoo News asked Americans who will be affected sa pamamagitan ng these cases to share their stories and perspectives. Here's a sampling of what they said.

'I can't help but hold on to a thread of hope'...

Same sex marriage was recently approved here in my country which is something nearly mahirap paniwalaan considering the type of society we live in. I think it was a big step pasulong in the gay rights support issue and that some others countries should follow this example.

Apart from all the political issues this brings up it feels AWESOME to know that if in a not so far away future I want to marry there will be problem.

I used to tell my mom I was going to die single but when I met the pag-ibig of my life my opinion about marriage changed big time.
And later this law was approved and I sinabi to myself "Hey, I could get married if I want to."

All this also made me feel madami secure about my sexuality and my life in general.

I just wanted to get that out of my chest :)

Love, Sab.
