The aim of the following artikulo is to ipakita the similarities between Draco/Hermione and Lucius/Lily and what Lucius/Lily have that Draco/Hermione don't. It's aim is also to encourage Draco/Hermione fanfiction writers to explore this hypothetical relationship.

1)    Blood status

Pureblood wizard and a muggleborn witch. It doesn't need further explanation.

2)    Social status

One is rich and the other is, well, not that rich. The differences in social status between Draco and Hermione have often been explored in fanfiction (mostly AU). Lucius/Lily offers the same possibility.

3)    Houses

Of course, a Slytherin boy and a Gryffindor girl.

4)    Bad boy and a know-it-all

Another striking similarity between Draco/Hermione and Lucius/Lily. Draco is the story's bad boy, but he's not nearly as bad his daddy who was among Voldemort's most trusted servants. Lily is Hermione of the Marauders Era in terms of academic success.

5)    Eventual spouses

Draco married a pureblood (probably) witch from Slytherin (probably) called Astoria Greengrass (notice the colour 'green' in the name). Lucius married a pureblood witch from Slytherin called Narcissa Black (again the colour in the name). Hermione married a pureblood wizard from Gryffindor whom she was always bickering with. Lily married a pureblood wizard from Gryffindor whom she was always bickering with as well.

6)    Writing freedom

The bonus that comes with this couple is that called Pagsulat freedom. Even the most radical canon mga manliligaw would be able to write a Lucius/Lily fic and state that it's canon-compliant.We know very little about Lucius and Lily (yet enough to notice the similarities between them and Draco/Hermione). One of the problems Dramione writers are always facing is how to get past all the insults and stay in character. There's no such problem with Lucius/Lily. For all we know, he could've been very nice to her.

7)    Slug club

Yes, both of them were members of this elite club for the most notable Hogwarts students.

8)    Snape

One whole paragraph goes to Snape. He's one of the most complex characters in Potterverse. What stands out is that both Lucius and Lily were his mga kaibigan and he cared a lot about thm. A character like this is what Dramione don't have. He can be a bridge between them. Also, the fact that Lucius' best friend was a halfblood can be used to ipakita that he's madami open-minded than he says.

All in all, this ship has almost everything that Draco/Hermione has: pureblood/muggleborn, rich/not so rich, Slytherin/Gryffindor, bad boy/know-it-all good girl. It also has some things Dramione don't: insults over the years, Slug club membership and Snape. In addition, it offers madami Pagsulat freedom.

The aim of the following artikulo is to explore the age difference between Lucius and Lily and analyze how it influences Pagsulat Dramione-like fiction.

J.K. Rowling tells us that Lucius was born in 1954 and Lily in 1960. In the books we see Lucius Malfoy, a prefect, greeting a first taon Snape as he joins as the Slytherin table. Lucius is either in his sixth taon or in his final year. Of course, one can always disregard Ms Rowling's words about the taon Lucius and Lily were born because it 'isn't in the books'. The scene where Lucius, a prefect, greets an 11-year-old Snape is, however, in the...

Well, the pamagat says it. What about our hero? Is the idea of Lucius/Lily really so odd that it wouldn't fit in Harry Potter? My answer is 'no', but it has very little to do with Pagsulat freedom. It has everything to do with one Lily Evans and her portrayal in the series.

Some Potter fans around the world say they don't like Lily because she's a 'Sue'. Unlike the spoiled James Potter who was a bully during his Hogwarts years, Lily apparently has no flaws. She even likes Snape. Such portrayal of Lily is the strongest weapon in the hands of a Lucius/Lily writer.

Parents, like everybody else, have...

The things I pag-ibig most about every fictional couple are actually small, details that not many people would immediatelly spot. Those details don't add that much to the relationship (sometimes nothing), non-shippers sometimes don't see them, but shippers pag-ibig them. Here are a few such things about Lucius/Lily:

1)    Letter 'L'

Yes, well, this one is obvious. Lily and Lucius are both names starting with the letter 'L'.

2)    Eye colour

Lily has green eyes while Lucius' are gray. Those would be the colours of Slytherin. While Lucius was a Slytherin, Slughorn,...

As we all know, the creatively invented pairing of Lucius Malfoy and Lily Evans is quite an extraordinary one, being the Marauder Era Dramione. It is relatively barren when it comes to fans, but entirely rich when it comes to possibilities. Just like other AU couples, this one is chocked full of imagination, surely containing madami of it than the proceeding, present araw ship of Dramione. A tanong that does not fail to emerge within my mind when the L/L shipping is mentioned is what their civility level towards each other was. Much unlike Draco and Hermione, Lucius and...

Dobby is a house elf employed at Hogwarts who once belonged to Lucius Malfoy. Aware of Lucius' plans with Voldemort's diary, Dobby warned Harry at the beginning of CoS not to return to Hogwarts and did his best to stop him, however unsuccessfully. Unlike other house-elves, Dobby showed he wasn't loyal to the Malfoys. Harry tricked Lucius into releasing him at the end of CoS and Dobby wasn't exactly as unhappy as one would expect from a house elf. He continued helping Harry and seemed very attached to him. The aim of the following artikulo is to explore the possibility of using Dobby in canon...
