Zayn Malik and his fiance, Perrie Edwards, have slowly started throwing ideas for their wedding and are excited to start a new chapter in their lives, but it looks like their plans are being put on hold.

The One Direction heartthrob was due to marry his Little Mix star fiancée, next year, but the pair are now said to have put their plans on hold because of their hectic schedules.

"There\'s been all this talk of a wedding, Perrie wanted a big Disney-themed day but the reality is they\'ve had to put it back. There isn\'t time to plan a day that will be perfect for the two of them," said a source to the Daily Mirror.

Zayn, and his bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Niall Horan also announced the UK dates of their “On The Road Again” tour on Nov. 29, leaving them booked up until late 2015.

"They\'re both so busy, they have decided they will have to have a long engagement,” said the source. "Who knows when the wedding will be now, but there are no plans at the moment."

Meanwhile, Malik is said to be trying to lead a more normal life.

"Zayn and Perrie are trying to spend as much time together as possible - because their commitments clash so much,” added the source. "When they are both away from home working, finding time together can be difficult."

As the couple appear to be very happy with each other, they have already started throwing out a few wedding ideas.

Edwards has already started designing her dress and although she didn’t go too much into detail, she admits she wants a classy dress.

“I definitely want long sleeves, I know exactly what I want, so I’m designing it and getting it made from scratch,” said Edwards.

“Not that I can draw...I’m getting Jade to do it,” added Edwards. “She’s going to draw it and I’m going to take it to somebody to make it.”

“I’m gonna have natural makeup-not too natural,” said Edwards about her makeup plan for the big day. “I don’t want to be a natural Nancy...but nice, light eye shadow with a nude lip.”

Edwards also made up her mind by having her bandmates as bridesmaids, but hasn’t set a date nor location.
