Mixers all across the world, listen up. It\'s *finally* happened - Little Mix have just scored their first ever BRIT Awards nomination for \'Black Magic\' and it\'s ABOUT BLOODY TIME.

It\'s difficult enough for any act off of a telly talent show to be taken seriously by snobby music industry-types at the best of times; but Leigh-Anne, Jesy, Jade and Perrie could potentially be going home with one of those fancy gongs next month. It\'s about four years too late, but we\'ll allow it \'cos we\'re dead chuffed.

The girls are up for Best British Single (should be Best British Group too, but k) against the likes of One Direction, Years & Years and Adele; and since they\'re so bloody brilliant we\'ve put together a list of reasons why we wanna see \'em win an award. CUTE.

The last girl band to perform and win at the BRITs was Girls Aloud back in 2009. TWO THOUSAND AND NINE. Let\'s face it, Little Mix are injecting some much-needed girl power into a patriarchal pop world saturated by humans with testicles. Surely that counts for something, right?

Like, it didn\'t spend three weeks at number one and find itself in the top 10 best selling UK girl band singles of all time for no reason. It literally never gets old.

Have y\'all *heard* \'These Four Walls\'? They essentially deserve every award going for the lungs on \'em alone.

Imagine the hair flicks as they go up to accept the award like YAAAAS BITCHES.

We thought they couldn\'t top DNA, Salute came out. We thought they couldn\'t top Salute, Get Weird came out. Album four\'s gonna be siiiiick, yo.

Yeah, we know that\'s absolutely nothing to do with the music but WHATEVER; they\'re serving all the goals and we\'d be lying if we said we\'re not already wondering about what they\'ll be wearing. Soz \'bout it.
