pag-ibig Tanong

should I care/worry about my boyfriend's mother not liking me?

We're both 15, we both really pag-ibig each other and we're very serious. I've been over to his house about 5 times and all of those times, his mom seemed fine. She told me she was upfront and she would say if I ever needed to talk to someone, I can talk to her and told me not to be shy around her. She even gave me gifts and such. I was incredibly sweet, polite, and I always have my manners. I gave her loads of respect and we would talk like normal. But recently, I found out that I can't ever come over to his house again because she doesn't "like" me -.- My bf told me that she doesn't like anyone and that it doesn't matter how or who the person is, she just doesn't like them. He also sinabi she hasn't liked any of his past girlfriends either. I'm just wondering is it's something to care about. My mother makes a big deal out of "getting along with the mother" but I'm not sure :/ what do you guys think of this? I just need some ideas

pag-ibig Sagot

It might be madami important if you were a guy, but securing a good relationship with a mother-n-law or one to-be scenario sometimes takes time, yet it is kinda important. Otherwise the guy has to be careful on both sides and be a very strong person. For you "now" at age 15, it is important because she may be over-bearing & controling which could make problems for the two if you still want to see each other or more. If her trust isn't there, you are pretty much in the hole. If she forbids things, you are stuck with difficulty. It is of importance if she likes you for the relationship to go smooth and be accepted, but that is not something you can control. It would be nice if you knew exact reasons why, but don't be hard on yourself at all if you are caring and mannerly and treat her son well with care and goodness! You cannot win them all. Some parents are hard to please no matter what a person does and it may take time.

Hopefully she can be won over.
