Was Michael's hair Black or brown. Because most time it looked black, but sometime it looked brown

If you look at the "You Are Not Alone" video, his hair totally looks brown. I've heard that because he had lupus, which makes the hair on your temples fall out, he wore a wig.

He had black hair when he was younger but he started wearing a wig in the bad ear cuz he got burnt during rehearsing the pepsi comusle and his hair burnt off :( thats why he wore a wig. I didn't know he suffered from lupus though poor man :'( is that really true?
