Is This True ???

It's in Frank Cascio's book "My friend, Michael". He sinabi that MJ tried to smoke after his good friend Barry Gibb (from Bee Gees) told him that he wrote or recorded (can't remember) almost all his great songs while smoking pot.. So Michael was curious and tried it. Just few times.

As liberiangirl already said, MJ told Frank Cascio that Barry Gibb had sinabi that weed increases the creativity (which is a well-known claim in the pop/rock scene). MJ and Barry were allegedly seen smoking weed in the recording studio. According to Frank he and MJ would drive up in the mountains surrounding Neverland and get high, but only a couple of times.

When he was 19, during the shooting of “The Wiz”, he used to hang out at “Studio 54” (NY night club) where there were drugs all over the place, and Mark Mothersbaugh (from the band “Devo”) sinabi that Michael had passed him a joint when he was there with him, but it wasn't weed, it was "angel dust" (PCP). So MAYBE (!!!) Michael had tried a couple of things before he and Barry Gibb became buddies.

His bodyguards during his last years sinabi that he had asked them, very quietly, for weed a couple of times.

MJ lived his entire life in the rock/pop scene, in an environment where there were drugs everywhere and “everyone” would use them. He sinabi that sometimes people would just put it in his pockets. Most stars used a lot, and often strong drugs. Unlike many other musicians, MJ wanted his record studio to be totally drug free. Frank DiLeo (former manager) sinabi that Michael never took any drugs like cocaine, etc. There were found no kalye drugs when they searched Neverland, nor in his house after his death, except from a small amount of very old weed and traces of cocaine that was NOT used on one of his undies. There was never found any kalye drugs in his blood.

I highly doubt that, but I really don't know... I mean, Michael was so stressed out and depressed during that STUPID/USELESS/LIFE WASTING trial, I wouldn't be surprised if he did try it, but even if he did, it wouldn't make me pag-ibig him any less...
