It was 6am at the All Smiles Orphanage. The old, tatty building stood on the outskirts of London and was tahanan to twenty children from the age of four to the age of twelve. All the children had just been woken up sa pamamagitan ng the ear-splitting kampanilya that went off and the terrifying yells of Matron Helen and Matron Hazel.

The children all scrambled out of their small, stiff beds and went to the messy bathroom. Everyone was wide awake and out of their beds except for one five taon old girl. Rosabel Diamond was still fast asleep. She had Nawawala her mother when she was two years old and her father abandoned her soon after that when his drinking and smoking habits got worse. It was the susunod door neighbour that had brought her to the orphanage.

Currently though, Rosabel was having a wonderful dream about her idol Michael Jackson. She was with him in Neverland playing hide and seek with him and eating candy. Michael was just about to give her a loving halik when the rickety door of the bedroom burst open.
"Rosabel! What do you think you're doing? Get up, this instant!" It was Matron Hazel.

She strode over to Rosabel and shook her violently until she was not only awake, but feeling dizzy and sick.
"I'm sorry Matron, I didn't mean to oversleep." Rosabel said, trying to hold back her tears.
Matron Hazel put her fat, kulay-rosas face centimetres away from Rosabel's. "Don't you dare let it happen again, or you won't eat for days." She growled. "Now get downstairs, the windows aren't going to clean themselves!"
"Yes Matron." Rosabel mumbled, a tear running down her cheeck as she left the room.
