Singer and songwriter Michael Joseph Jackson, was born on August 29th, 1958 in Gary Indiana to parents Joseph and Katherine Jackson.

Michael came into ipakita buisness at a young age. At age 5, his father, Joe Jackson, beleived that his sons had great talent, so in the early 1960's,he created a music group. The group had Michael, and his brothers Tito, Jermaine, and Jackie. Then Michael's brother Marlon joined the group. They were named, "The Jackson 5."

The Jackson 5 signed a record deal with Motown Records in 1968. The Jackson 5's first album, "Diana Ross Presents The Jackson 5," was released in December of 1969.

Years later, the Jackson 5 became known as, "The Jacksons." They soon signed a record deal with Epic Records.

Michael went solo later in his life. He released "Off The Wall" in 1979. It included the songs of "Don't Stop Till' You Get Enough" and "Rock With You."

But no one can ever forget Michael's album, "Thriller," which was released in 1982. Thriller included popular songs, "Billie Jean," and "Beat It." Thriller is the best-selling album of all time, selling madami albums then any other artisit.

In 1985, Michael co-wrote and performed the song, "We Are The World." It was sung with other artists like sinag Charles, Lionel Ritchie, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, and many others. "WE Are The World" was a charity single for "USA for Africa."

In 1987, Michael released "Bad." "Bad" featured popular songs "Smooth Criminal," "The Way You Make Me Feel," and "Man In The Mirror." Even though "Bad" was released after the best seller, "Thriller," "Bad" did not do as well as "Thriller" did, but was still a great album.

In the late 1980's, Michael bought a ranch in California and named it "Neverland Ranch." "Neverland Ranch" included rides, and animals, such as Michael's chimp, Bubbles. Also in the late 1980's, rumors swriled around that Michael was lightening the color of his skin to appear madami white, and also that he slept in a chamber that increased his life-span.

In 1991, Michael released "Dangerous." "Dangerous" included the popular song, "Black or White."

In 1993, Michael was accused of child molestation. A 13-year-old boy claimed that Michael fondld him. The police searched Michael's ranch, but found no evidence to support the 13 year-old's claim.

In August of 1994, Michael married Elvis Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie. This shocked many fans, and many people didn't think their marriage would last, but those fans were right, the marriage didn't last. In 1996, Lisa Marie and Michael divorced.

Back in 1995, Michael had released his album, "HIStory: Past Present and Future: Book 1." This album had popular songs such as "Earth Song," "You Are Not Alone," and "They Don't Care About Us."

Later Michael married nurse Debbie Rowe in November of 1996. They had two children together, a son, Prince Michael Jackson I, who was born in 1997, and a daughter, Paris Katherine Michael Jackson, who was born in 1998. Then in 1999, Michael and Debie divorced. Michael received full custody of both of their children.

In 2001, Michael released his last album, "Invincible." This album featured the popular song, "You Rock My World."


In February of 2002, Michael had anoth son, Prince Michael Jackson II (nicknamed "Blanket,") with an unkown woman.

In 2004, Michael was charged again with child molestation, and other things. The trial lasted about a year. But on June 14th, 2005, Michael was found not guilty of all his charges. Soon after the trial was over, he left "Neverland Ranch."

In March of 2009, Michael announced that he would be performing for the last time in London starting July 8th, 2009. The tour was titled, "This Is It." The tour was suppose to be only 10 shows, but then was added 40 madami shows.

Sadly, on June 25, 2009, Michael went in to cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles tahanan around noon. Then, at 2:26 pacific time, Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at Ronald Reagan Medical Center at age 50. In 13 days, Michael was suppose to start his London tour.

On July 7th, 2009, family, friends, and fans of Michael Jackson's came for a final goodbye to the King of Pop at The Staples Center in Los Angeles, where Michael had rehersed days before his death. Performers included Mariah Carey, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, Shaheen Jafargholi,Usher, and Michael's brother, Jermaine Jackson. Speakers included Brooke Sheilds, Berry Gordy, Al Sharpton, and Michael's brother, Marlon Jackson, but no one could ever forget when Michael's only daughter, Paris Jackson, spoke a few words about her daddy.

June 25 is a araw all Michael Jackson fans will never forget. But even though Michael is not with us today, he is always, in our hearts.
