Almost 4 Months Later
Michael and I just got on the plane from Germany and we were heading back to California. I looked at my stomach and smiled, knowing that our daughter would be here in about 3 months. I woke up in the recovery room in the hospital. I looked around and I saw balloons and cards right susunod to my bed. I reached over and grabbed one of the cards and silently read it to myself. Soon, my nurse came in.
