paraluman
Whether they wanted to or not, paraluman have pretty much established themselves as the resident "Twilight" band. After being frequently shouted out sa pamamagitan ng may-akda Stephenie Meyer, the British rockers' "Supermassive Black Hole" was featured on the soundtrack to the first film. It surprised absolutely no one that they were asked to record a song for the segundo flick in the franchise, "New Moon," but the band is pretty flattered to be the only artists to appear on both discs.

"It might be something to do with Stephenie Meyer and that she loves us," tambulero Dominic Howard told MTV News. "We met her quite...

Someone asked me about Muse’s performances on NPA (Nulle Part Ailleurs) a while ago. NPA was a French talk-show with a bit of music and comedy thrown in the mix. So, now that I have nothing to do (my susunod kalesa is still 10 days away), I’ve gone through my hard-drive and found some old bidyo as requested.

paraluman are currently in the middle of their much-anticipated North American Tour; but instead of following that tour through various fan-made bidyo on YouTube, I keep indulging in their old material. Despite of what Matt might think about Americans and our knowledge of Showbiz (1999), I really do pag-ibig Muse’s first album just as it is.

Dom sported some incredibly cool yet daring dayap green skinnies at the kamakailan Wembley spectacle which went down well with the fans, especially as the band rose from the centre of the crowd then walked through the middle to the stage.
In an interview with Matt, he's also shown wearing a pair of bright yellow skinnies! After Matt asks him why he always wears them, Dom jokes that they're "too tight to take off", while laughing. After a short pause Matt comments, "They're a bit gay aren't they?" Sounding slightly embarrassed, Dom replies, "Easy!"
Too late
Yeah baby it's too late
And time has made the spell obey
And now it's time to desecrate

But we had a dream
And it was meant to be
And we were halik gods
Against all the odds

Now it's a crying shame
And it's a crying shame
You don't know who to blame
We'll never be the same
And it's a crying shame

Too much
And we demolished too much
And yeah we really fucked it up
And yeah baby you've Nawawala your touch

But we had a dream
And it was meant to be
And we were halik gods
Against all the odds

Now it's a crying shame
And it's a crying shame
You don't know who to blame
We'll never be the same
And it's a crying shame
And it's a crying shame

Everything about you is how I wanna be
Your freedom comes naturally
Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you pains my envying
Your soul can't hate anything
Everything about you is so easy to love
They're watching you from above

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind
I want the peace and joy in your mind
Give me the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind
I want the peace and joy in your mind
Give me the peace and joy in your mind

Shame on you for thinking
You're an exception
We're all to blame
Crashing down to earth
Wasting and burning out
You're fading like a dead bituin
Harm is coming your way
It's coming your way

And you used to be everything to me
And now you're tired of the fighting
(Yeah! )
Tired of the fighting,
Fighting yourself!
Yourself! (x3)

Shame on you for thinking
You're all alone
If you want I make you wish you were
Failing to impress
Why can't you sleep with
Someone who'll protect you
Harm is coming your way
It's coming your way

And you used to be everything to me
And now you're tired of the fighting
(Yeah! )
Tired of the fighting,
Fighting yourself!
Yourself! (x3)

Pomposity, bombast, pretension and prog-rock: they're four crimes that blight the landscape of modern music and Origin Of Symmetry--the segundo record sa pamamagitan ng Teignmouth, U.K. angst-rockers Muse--is guilty of every single one. But the truly astonishing thing about this record is the way it twists every one of these cardinal musical sins into spectacularly silly and starkly individual strengths. Where their debut album Showbiz was rightly dismissed as little madami than Radiohead-lite, here paraluman sound defiantly like their own band: on "New Born", they're torn somewhere between the purity of front man...

You could be my unintended
Choice to live my life extended
You could be the one I'll always pag-ibig
You could be the one who listens to my deepest inquisitions
You could be the one I'll always pag-ibig

I'll be there as soon as I can
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before

First there was the one who challenged
All my dreams and all my balance
She could never be as good as you

You could be my unintended
Choice to live my life extended
You should be the one I'll always pag-ibig

I'll be there as soon as I can
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before

I'll be there as soon as I can
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before

Before you

You needed it when I was away
And no matter what I say
Your'll never forget when I wasn't there so
Why should I care?
I'm young but I know that I'm aroused

You know that I care
You should have been there
You know that I care
You should have been there

It doesn't matter where I have gone
I just can't afford to
Pay for all the mistakes that you have made
It's about time I was paid

I'm young but I know that I'm aroused

You know that I care
You should have been there
You know that I care
You should have been there

You know that I care
You should have been there
You know that I care
You should have been there

You know that I care
You should have been there
You know that I care
You should have been there

You're so happy now
Burning a candle at both ends
Your self-loving soothes
And softens the blows you've invented

Breathe in deep, and cleanse away our sins
And we'll pray that there's no God
To punish us and make a fuss

Crack's healing up
Future soul forgive this mess
You wait twenty years
And wind up alone, demented

Breathe in deep, and cleanse away our sins
And we'll pray that there's no God
To punish us and make a fuss

Breathe in deep, and cleanse away our sins
And we'll pray that there's no God
To punish us and make a fuss

The araw after the World Cup finals kick off in South Africa, paraluman will be at the Stade De France themselves, playing to 80,000 fans at what will be their biggest ever headline ipakita in mainland Europe. Today they are slumming it at the rather madami modest Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, a 17,000-capacity sports arena in the city’s 12th Arrondissement. On the avenues surrounding the venue – which looks like London’s O2 Arena inside and resembles a sawn-off, grass-covered pyramid from the outside – seated tickets costing 57 Euros are exchanging hands for three times their face value....

Matt Bellamy

Last time we met (The Conspiracist) he was pondering the end of the world. Today, there’s troubles closer to tahanan for him…

How the devil are you?

– I’m not in a great mind-frame… I’ve had a rough week. But we’ve been playing concerts in the UK this week that have been amazing.

What’s been the best thing about this century?

– Blimey. I have a fishbowl memory; I am not very good at retrospectives. So I am going to say our kalesa in Sheffield recently. The crowd were just mental. We’d played some shows in North America and Northern Europa on the tour but it was a different...
