Joseph William Malord Turner (1775-1851) - Master of Landscape

Joseph William Malord Turner’s talent for drawing and painting was first recognised sa pamamagitan ng his father. A barber who knew almost nothing about art, he respected his son’s efforts and encouraged them. Though the family was in modest circumstances, Turner was enrolled in art school before he was fourteen. His specialty was the landscape. Turner loved landscapes, and also cityscapes and seascapes.
