First of all, I don't mean to offend any "monsters" pagbaba this.

I used to think Lady Gaga was okay, she had a few good songs, and was cute. But in late 2009, she just got wierd. Disturbing. First it was the Paparazzi preformance at the VMAS. Then the vid. Then she started doing all kinds of crazy shit.

But to me the most offensive thing she's ever done was wear that meat dress at the 2010 VMAS. I mean come on! How offensive! Even Ellen DeGenerous sinabi so herself! I personally am not a vegetarian, but there are so many people out there who are, and that just sent an awful message to them! Plus it's horrible for animal lovers. I am an animal lover.

But still, why does she still have fans? They say she is "original", but if you look at it, she's just re-creating madona, in a madami trashy way. Her voice isn't even all that great.

I know I may sound like a hater. I don't mean to be. I don't want to make any enemies, I respect everyone's opinion but I just think Lady Gaga is such an awful role model and influence on our socity.

Girls our age look up to her! There is even a girl at my school who showed up wearing glasses and a puso on her lip, like in the Paparazzi video. What's next, girls comming to school dressed in meat? Because Lady Gaga does it?

And what's susunod for Gaga. She's already offended almost everyone. I don't even think I want to know what's next. Killing people in her vids, pag-awit trashy songs, I don't understand why they call her "the new princess of pop". Britney Spears is so much better!

Hopefully this is just a phase our socity is going through because if Gaga dosn't die out soon, all the susunod generation of girls will be like her. Which isn't a compliment.

TDIlover123 I agree with you on most of the "stuff" you mentioned I would like to say that I do like some of her music, but that is it. She has a few good songs but unfortunately all of them are about the same thing, you all can probably figure out what I mean. Ugh. (and to say I also don't want to hurt anyone or offend anyone or make enemies. I respect peoples opinion and I was only giving my own). You have a valid point in paragraph 6 (about girls dressing a certain way or doing certain things because Lady GaGa does it) it's getting to the point where I'm amazed at how much girls are "copying" her i can understand the sunglasses, the "hair-bow", and some other accessories, but for Halloween or "dress-up" or whatever. On a regular daily basis it's getting to be strange

cassie-1-2-3 The meat thing was pretty horrible.. I think if you're going to kill an animal for it's meat, that meat should be eaten. Cloathing, especially the couture stuff, are collectables. I'm pretty sure many many people are against poaching (Killing animals to gain collectables like horns, antlers, and such) I don't have anything against her doing weird things. Sometimes weird is fun. Sometimes weird is weird. I don't think she's the greatest role model. Not because of the weird things she does, but because of the time she told the press that she was starving herself because that's whay pop stars do. I think that was very stupid. But besides that, she's a good entertainer. She just doesn't make the brightest decisions all the time.

Magica I agree completely. Of course, I hardly pay any attention to her, because I'm far from a fan of hers, but when I have to, she does puzzle/scare/disgust me. Besides all that, I just don't care for her music. At all. Seriously. Can't stand it.

rachaelwsz I'm agreeing with cassie-1-2-3 on this. I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga but I think she does have a good singing voice. Her live concerts are pretty good. "Britney Spears is so much better!" Britney is a good entertainer IMO but she's not a good singer, unlike Lady Gaga is a pretty good entertainer and a good singer. The meat dress that she wore wasn't exactly the smartest move. People just make bad decisions sometimes. "I don't have anything against her doing weird things. Sometimes weird is fun. Sometimes weird is weird." I agree with this. The music industry is a tough one. If you want to stand out, you need an image. A striking one. Like Katy's slightly vintage-like image for her album, One of The Boys (and now the candy-themed image for Teenage Dreams), Avril Lavigne with her skater girl image for her album, Let Go, Ke$ha with her tipsy-like image, etc. For Lady Gaga, dressing weirdly is hers.

Luna--Lovegood I DO agree with some of the stuff you said, but I AM a Gaga fan. While her videos ARE slutty and trashy, and some of her outfits DO seem like a cry for attention, she is actually VERY talented. Not only can she sing and put on a show, she also can play the Piano and several other instruments as well. Though the meat dress wasn't my favorite of her outfits, she had a lot of really cool ones too. And they all have some sort of meaning, for instance, she said the following about her meat dress: "...........If we don't stand up for what we believe in and if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And I am not a piece of meat." I think it's pretty neat that she stands up so strongly for what she believes. And just because some people are vegetarians doesn't mean that people should change their behavior just for them. It's a free country after all. And it was rather rude of you to call ALL her fans monsters. You too should learn to respect peoples beliefes. Theres nothing wrong with liking her music.

i-am-mariella Uhm, yes, no. If you don't want to offend any little monsters reading this, and I am one, then don't put "Gaga should be cut from the music business; her fans are real monsters." We're not Nazis. This isn't my personal opinion, but I could very easily call Katy Perry a bad role model because she has homophobic lyrics in her songs and wears cream cakes on her tits. Not only that, but she criticizes other singers for "blasphemy" after parading around in bikini shorts and candy, and singing a faux-lesbian hit. Pfft. And everyone takes inspiration from artists like Madonna; it doesn't mean they are "copying." It's not a school playground. ps. Katy, if you want a really blasphemous video, check out Die Warzau - Born Again. that even offended me. I really would not mind the next generation of girls being like Gaga; strong, proud women who stand up for their beliefs. The whole "bizaree outfits" thing is because she was eccentric even at school and was teased for it, and wants to make sure her fans know there's nothing wrong with being a little different. Personally I'd like to see more musicians like her who don't just use generic pop all the time. Besides whatever you say, Lady Gaga will never be "cut from the music industry."

PotterLambert93 Your very Conservative aren't you? As a Gaga fan, I understand she can be weird at times [hell, she arrived at the Grammys inside an Egg] but that doesn't make her a bad person. Unlike todays so-called "artists" she can ACTUALLY SING!! she has so since she was a kid and wrote her own songs since the age of 13. I love that she plays the piano and not some other paid douchebag in her band. "Brittnay Spears is so much better"?? Really?? I couldn't stand her since Elementary school and I still can't stand her to this day in High School! How can Brittnay be so much better when she showed off her belly button and she herself had innapropriate videos that were just as stupid as Gaga's? I hated her video for "Womanizer" because it justs gives another excuse for men in real life to control a woman!! And Gaga isn't being a "bad influence" I'm really sick of people these days judging stars and worrying about whos good and whos not! it's just sickning. She's letting peole know that it's ok to be different and to follow your dreams no matter what anyone says, and no, she's not just directing it towards Gay people.
