So I started listening to K-pop a little over a year ago, but I really dragged myself into it recently, and I thought it\'d be fun to compile a list of my favorite songs. This was initially going to be a top 100, but I decided just ranking the songs I liked best was going to be easier than trying to rank 100 songs that I liked.
Anyhow, I listened to a ton of songs to make this list (including OSTs and covers :P), but there\'s always a chance that a song I missed could have ended up on my list, so you guys can feel free to put down stuff in the comments :)
This song certainly fits its title - it\'s so soothing.
This song really drags you into liking BTS for the genuine people they are... at least for me it did.
Solar\'s voice seems especially mellow in this song.
It\'s not often that I find a rap song I like. I relate so much to this song...
I love how they sampled Elvis\' Jailhouse Rock - that song has a good beat. I actually didn\'t like the chorus so much because it didn\'t have as good of a beat as in the parts where Jailhouse Rock was being sampled.
I just like a lot of IU\'s songs because they\'re all very unique and creative in my opinion. This song is beautiful on top of being unique and creative, even though the subject of the song (kids "disappearing" one night in Sogyeokdong) is kinda sad.
VROMANCE is able to convey a lot of emotion in this song.
It feels like you\'re in a trance for the whole song, and it has a kinda wedding-ish feel.
There\'s always a great beat going throughout the song.
I feel like "Can\'t Help Myself" is a song you\'d hear at a pool party
This song is just so powerful from the start.
This song has a massive beat and an equally massive chorus in my opinion.
The chorus and the bridge leading up to the chorus are the best parts in my opinion
The chorus section is rather long, but I still love how catchy and confident it is.
I like the fresh vibe of this song, and B.I.G\'s maknae Heedo has a nice rap.
*might just die if History doesn\'t come back*
This is a song I would play in my car (once I finish learning how to drive) with the windows all open for everyone to hear
I really love the weird sort of thoughtfulness in this song.
19. Bad Girl Good Girl - Minhyuk, Minhyuk, BamBam, Youngjae
Best boy group cover of a girl group song in existence IMO!
I love the lyrics of "Napal Baji". Psy has a lot of songs that should get more attention...
I love the vocals in this song as well as the message.
I have all of the lyrics to this song memorized because I love singing it so much
I have this song memorized too for the same reason lol :)
This song\'s got a very cool, somewhat laid-back beat that I just really like.
The fifth OST from Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo!
A friend recommended this song to me before I really got into BTS and nothing was ever the same from then on
Wasn\'t sure if this could be considered Kpop, but since I already included another OST from Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, I just threw this in too :P
Im Sun Hae has superb vocals (she is an opera singer, after all). And I know all the words AND the meaning of the actual words from listening to this song so much
I actually first heard this song when I was watching a clip of IU and Jonghyun after the awards show in which IU won with The Red Shoes, and was searching for the song for months until somebody commented the song title for the many viewers of that video who wanted to know what the song was.
This is the song that first got me into Kpop a little over a year ago, so I\'m very attached to it. I love the use of brass in the song, and the song itself is very catchy and fun to sing along to :)
Well, that\'s it! Feel free to comment about the songs on this list, or about any songs you would put on your own list :)
