What is so great about My Chemical Romance?

Right well... For school we have to write about something that is special too us so I picked MCR and I wanted to know what makes them great to all of you. I won't judge anyone for their sagot because that is not the MCR way. If I get enough responses I might even put my essay type thing on here so please tell me why are MCR so special to each and everyone of you?

They are the only band I know (meaning out of the ones I listen to) that makes it their mission to save lives thru their music. In my eyes there is no better band than MCR because they go farther than just being a band, they are heroes.
