A/N: Oh my gosh, I haven't written any ponyfics for such a long time! D: But I loved Pagsulat these, so here you go! Part three!
Time seemed to speed up as applejack grew. I was her best friend, and even though Ma and Pa were always there for support, it was me who she tended to turn to.
"Big Mac?" she asked one evening, watching me kick mansanas trees with wide, wistful green eyes, "When will I be as strong as you? When will I be able to make the apples fall?
I chose my words carefully. applejack had always valued honesty, but it was true that colts generally developed strong hind legs earlier than fillies. So I told her just that.
applejack sighed. "I wanna start now, though!"
At the time, I chuckled and thought she was being ridiculous. But soon her legs were strong enough to kick Ma away when she had to drag her to take a bath. applejack confided in me that she was practicing for mansanas Bucking Season, and I stared in amazement as one day, her legs firmly hit the trunk of the puno and apples came cascading down, plopping into the small bin I had placed there.
applejack grinned at my look of disbelief. She was barely a taon old, and already harvesting apples?!
Applejack's personality slowly matured, though, and soon she was spouting nonsense about 'leavin' for the big city' and such. I was worrying about her--but if she really wanted to leave when she got older, I wasn't going to stop her.
But then tragedy struck--and our lives were flipped around forever.
