I want to take this time to talk about one of my two paborito duos in MLP: FiM. I'll talk about my most paborito one in my susunod article. But for right now, I wanna talk about one that has a lot of potential, but has never really been utilized all that much in the series: Pinkie Pie and bahaghari Dash.

I'm real sucker for this kind of duo. You've got bahaghari Dash, the 'cool girl' and Pinkie Pie, the bubbly optimist.

This duo got it's start in the season one episode, 'Griffon the Brush Off.' In that episode, bahaghari Dash at first found Pinkie Pie to be annoying, (which was pretty strange considering she didn't have any problem with her in the last four episodes) but after finally acquiescing to Pinkie's offer to hang out and play a prank on Spike, the two start bonding.

Aside from that episode, the two don't really have that much interaction with each other, though I do like the scene in the episode 'Party of One' where Pinkie chases after bahaghari Dash and Dash tries to avoid her like in 'Griffon the Brush Off.' Except in the latter episode, instead of trying to avoid Pinkie because she's annoying, Dash tries to avoid Pinkie because she's trying to keep a secret from her (I'm not saying what it is to avoid spoilers).

What I like about this duo as I stated before is the contrast in personalities. bahaghari Dash's cocky coolness combined with her sometimes aggressive ego and Pinkie Pie's enthusiasm is a potent combination.

Whenever I see these two together, I sort of think of bahaghari Dash as a kind of big sister to Pinkie Pie; you know the kind that is constantly annoyed sa pamamagitan ng her little sister's antics, but loves her nonetheless and who will be there to stick up for her sister if anyone messes with her and vice versa with Pinkie Pie.

One short that really made me like this duo was the Equestria Girls: bahaghari Rocks short, 'Pinkie on the One.' Dash and Pinkie's interaction in that short was just golden.

I believe this duo has a lot of potential for madami episodes together. In particular, I would pag-ibig to see an episode where Dash does something to hurt Pinkie Pie's feelings and she does her best to get her to forgive her, ipinapakita how much Dash really does care for Pinkie Pie (even though she's shown it before).

I really hope in season 5, we have at least one Pinkie/Dash episode to really ipakita the chemistry between these two. Heck, I wouldn't even mind if these two got a spinoff series together.

"Simple Ways" Review

This episode is just...meh at best, and atrocious at worst.

It starts with Rarity planning a festival, and Rarity wants to impress a parang buriko named Trenderhoof.

Rarity attempts to impress Trenderhoof, but Trenderhoof prefers Applejack. This immediately makes Trenderhoof an a**hole in my opinion. He's only attracted to applejack because of stupid stereotypes! Stupid, country, stereotypes!
