The great news is NCIS is back for season 8 according to CBS. However some cast members are still negotiating their return re:- Wikipedia:- At the end of the seventh season, Michael Weatherlys, David McCallums, Pauley Perrettes, and Sean Murrays contracts are up, and won't be renewed until an agreement of pay has been met between CBS and the stars, as they believe they are being underpaid. On April 30, 2010, David McCallum confirmed his return to the show, with his manager saying "he's excited to be coming back and to see everybody." On May 5, 2010, Michael Weatherly said he is "optimistic" about returning to the show. While Pauley Perrette has stated she is unsure about her future on the show, Sean Murray has declined to make any comment on the subject.
