Brian Protheroe is an exceptionally talented and underrated British actor, musician and singer.
His first single, "Pinball", was released in August 1974 followed sa pamamagitan ng an album of the same title. Protheroe's music has an enduring, ever relevant quality, and he is still recording new music to this day.
As for Protheroe's pagganap career, it is extensive, including many tv drama appearances, film roles and numerous stage productions. He also had a small role in the 1978 film Superman as a co-pilot of Air Force One.
His screen presence is captivating, always with an enduring sense of class and an ability to hold an audience in the palm of his hand, especially in North and South

DR76 I remember him from "Superman: The Movie". I also remember him from a miniseries that aired back in 1989 that was based on a Jeffrey Archer novel. And of course, I remember him from "North and South".

"NORTH AND SOUTH" (1975) Review

I had been a tagahanga of Elizabeth Gaskell's 1855 novel, ever since I first saw the 2004 telebisyon adaptation a few years ago. Mind you, I had never read the novel. And I still have yet to read it. Despite this, I became a tagahanga of the story. And when I learned that the BBC planned to release an older adaptation of Gaskell's novel, which first aired in 1975, I looked pasulong to seeing it.
