I mean like he has always been alone even as Rumple,remember that Charming doubt that he could pag-ibig someone.

I'm sure they will understand pag-ibig makes Mr.Gold better (opposite if someone hurts Belle). Beside, apart from Henry, barely a person knew the appearance of Belle
