Do you think Regina has 'paid the price' for the Dark Curse?

Let me explain. All Magic comes at a Price, right? And from what I, personally, have gotten from the ipakita is that the price is karmic. When magic comes into play karma always does too and in the end, when the person has paid the karmic price, they very rarely don't regret the deal or the magic. I don't think Regina has paid the karma price (granted, I also don't think the ipakita will write in her price, but still ...). She took away the happy endings of possibly thousands of people. Logic would dictate that in the end fate would take away her happy ending. I know some people interpret this as Regina taking away the things people pag-ibig and the price was her taking her father's puso but this just seems a little too easy or neat to me. Not to say killing her own father was an easy thing for her to do, I'm sure it was horrific but it was still a price Regina was willing to pay. What do you think?

With all of the crap that's happened to her (losing Henry, getting framed, getting tortured, etc.) yeah it long since been paid. Plus her happy ending was already taken prior to the curse.

Most definitely! She seemed to curse herself as well which caused a hole in her puso and almost losing her son multiple times. ;'(
Lets hope she'll continue to right-the-wrongs she's done in S3 and get rewarded with the happiness she deserves! *^_^*

i think her price is henry. emma came to town and eventually wanted to take henry away from regina and henry is regina's only pinagmulan of true to the puso happiness. another price is her magic. she no longer had her magic until ginto brought it back at the end of s1. she also Nawawala her mother, her father, and her horse so yeah i think there were many prices she paid for the curse. i hate to sound like i'm judging her cause i pag-ibig her but i'm just saying :)

I think she paid enough. She took her father's life for it and after the curse I think she realised what a mistake she did. She not only took away other people's happiness but also her own happiness. Reliving the same araw all the time can get quite tiring and boring. That's why she got Henry because she needed someone to bring her back her happiness and that's what Henry did and she really truly loved her boy even though he wasn't her flesh and blood. Also she did try to redeem herself in the end for Henry. I like to think of it as in that ipakita "My Name Is Earl". Well, Earl had the whole listahan of wrong things he did in his life and tried to right them because of bad luck that karma was bringing him. Regina is kind of doing the same thing just differently. So yeah I think she's paying enough. :)

Totally! The writers aren't fair with her compared to other characters. She has Nawawala her mother and her son after the curse and that would be horrible for anyone. To have your OWN mother die in your arms. Would anyone like that? I think not.

I think she'll pay the price when Henry leaves her and everything goes bck to it was because at the end she'll always be known as the evil reyna and Henry will always be Emma's son over Regina and Henry will pag-ibig Emma in away he cn't pag-ibig Regina and she'll pay for it sa pamamagitan ng losin Henry.

Let's pretend that karma actually means that whole "what goes around comes around" thing. That means that what you put out, comes back to you, yes?

Everything that people are saying Regina was punished for... happened before she cast the curse. Her mother's abuse, Daniel's death, killing her father. That's not punishment for the curse, because the curse hadn't happened yet.
The only arguable thing is her loosing Henry, but that's a tough argument to make, since her sacrificing herself to destroy the diamond gave her Henry back and put her in Emma's good graces, which means she'll get to see even madami of him.

Much like how Rumpelstiltskin hasn't paid for the damage he's done, I don't think Regina has paid the price for the curse she cast. If anything, since the curse broke, the writers are taking her character to a place where she stands to gain, not loose.

(I also don't think they'll actually have a price to pay, but that's something else entirely.)

@bri That's kind of what I was saying. It doesn't back what she said. I think she just got the facts mixed up. I mean I personally can see how she could get the two mixed up. But you guys sinabi it was done and I'm neutral here so I'll drop it.
