One Direction are apparently "experimenting" with sounds for their debut album.
According to The X Factor vocal producer Savan Kotecha, the boyband - who came third in last year's series of the talent ipakita - are exploring all genres of music for their first LP and have already made some "catchy" tunes.
Kotecha, who has previously worked with the likes of former XF winner Leona Lewis and Britney Spears, is involved in the "early stages" of One Direction's album - which is due for release later this year.
Speaking of The X Factor group in an interview with Digital Spy, Savan confessed: "I've been in the early stages of helping to develop a few things for them - I'm actually meeting up with them later today in the studio."
"For them it's just going to be experimenting with a few things - they're going to be fine. They've got some really good songs."
He added: "The stuff I've heard has been really catchy and everyone loves the guys, so it's just about capturing that in the music, which I think is what they're going to be doing."
The boys have previously announced that fans can expect the first One Direction single in June. We can't wait!

Cardle has been forced to change his phone number after fellow X Factor contestants One Direction accidently let his number slip through Twitter.
The boyband were chatting in a live web chat and proceeded to let fans hear a voicemail message without realising it contained the digits of Matt’s phone number. Matt ended up receiving thousands of missed calls, voicemails and texts.
A pinagmulan told The Sun: “Matt woke to hundreds of missed calls. He thought something serious had happened.”
However Matt took it all in good jest according to the insider. “He spoke to the lads and had a laugh.” the pinagmulan added.
