13-year-old Maude Apatow got to every teen girl's dream when she got to sit down with One Direction.

Maude Apatow whose father Judd Apatow the man behind hilarious comedies like Superbad and Bridesmaids, got to hang out with the boys on behalf of teen vogue.

She got to ask the boys lots of tanong about girls, music and each other, and found out that Louis happens to be huge Spice Girls tagahanga ("Viva Forever" is the most played song on his iPod), and that Zayn has a few idols including P!nk, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars.

Maude says she was very nervous whilst doing the interview saying her voice was high and her legs were shaking because she was so nervous!!!!!

Then I was sitting on the kama alone, thinking about my life. I wished I hadn’t kissed her and everything would be alright. But I never regretted loving her. She was the angel of my life. Suddenly, I saw Bella standing in front of the door, panting:

Despite coming third on last year's X Factor, One Direction have remained firm favourites with the teenage fanbase whose parents refused to allow them to vote for the umpteenth time during the boys' time on the hit show.

The following Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan garnered during their time on the ipakita was insane and encouraged their mentor, Simon Cowell to sign them up once the ipakita was over.

And now the fivesome have followed Cher Lloyd across the Atlantic to Los Angeles, to start work on their debut album.

Louis took to Twitter to tell his fans of their trip, writing: “So excited to be in L.A will tweet pictures when I can :) xx”

The group looked excited and in disbelief as they arrived in Los Angeles. Not bad for five teenagers!

The boys haven't got long in LA as they will be back in the UK to perform in the X Factor live tour which kicks off on February 19.
