One Direction announce UK and Ireland tour for 2015 

One Direction were back on the X Factor stage this weekend, four years after they came third in the competition.

Louis Tomlinson, 23, Niall Horan, 21, Zayn Malik, 21, Harry Styles, 20, and Liam Payne, 21, performed their new single Steal My Girl live.

There wasn\'t a lip synch in sight as the lads took turns on lead vocals, before they chatted to host Dermot O\'Leary.

Nial revealed the band will tour the UK and Ireland next year as part of the On the Road Again tour, sending Twitter into immediate meltdown with emotional fans delighted by the news.

The world\'s biggest selling boy band have been on a well deserved break recently, having racked up a whopping 47 million record sales and 95 worldwide number ones in their short time together.

Liam revealed he was gutted Jack had left the competition but said the lads were now backing Ben Haenow in the competition.

Meanwhile One Direction scooped three MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow but failed to turn up to collect their prizes due to their appearance on X Factor.
