Biased Ratings: Why i think people should get a clue!

Why rate this low? It's beautifully made!

I'm not one to hide my opinion on near about anything. Sometimes it causes me some trouble, other times it gets the job done. Hopefully this artikulo will be the latter.

I've been submitting some art today, a good bit of it so far has been Peyton/Leyton. While Leyton may not be my paborito couple, and Peyton isn't always my paborito character, but good art is good art! So imagine my surprise when not just my Hilarie/Peyton art is rated a mere 1, but every piece of Peyton/Leyton art i submit.

At first i thought maybe it was just someone being stupid because they don't like me or something dumb like that, but then i looked at the Brooke/Brucas art and it's all getting good ratings...

I'm not gonna lie and say that I'm not highly confused right now. I honestly can't see a Peyton/Leyton tagahanga rating all of those larawan low so I'm not going to pretend like that's what i think happened.

I think all of you fellow BL'ers are amazing but i have a feeling that someone is rating everything LP related low just because it's LP... I can't think of anyone who would do that though so I'm going to assume it's some stupid newb.

I just want to say that I think this crap is far beyond old. We're all mature enough to either rate something based on quality not character/couple, or just not rate it at all. So how about we ipakita our maturity?!

And walang tiyak na layunin person whomever you may be: Please, get a clue and realize that you're not accomplishing anything sa pamamagitan ng rating LP stuff low. It's not like you rating something a 1 is going to suddenly make Mark be like "OMG! You're right fanpop user, Leyton sucks!!"

Again, they may not be a couple i like but this banner is gorgeous!

xoheartinohioxo Thank you guys <333 I know that it's nothing new but that doesn't mean anything to me. I'm highly opinionated and I won't hesitate to say something that needs to be said you know? lol and this is probably going to sound silly but Laur will probably appreciate it- I get the feeling that somebody doesn't like me making LP art & you know what... It just makes me want to make & submit EVEN MORE!! So ha random coward who still hasn't spoken up! I'll keep right on posting LP/Peyton art =]

Laurencia7 do it! I want more LP art! hahaha Hey Holly, people need to realize it takes us a really long time to make banners, and icons, and wp. We put a little of ourselves in every piece. Kinda of like a image painting if you will. I love every piece of art I do, at least sometimes. And it really hurts when people rate it low, for what ever reason. Whether they don't like it, or etc. My last banner that got rated low took me 2 hours to make...:(

xoheartinohioxo ^^^ Anytime you see that shit happening, link me to your art and i will rate it a 5 and make a comment just to piss that evil hater off! And you'll be getting plenty of new LP art as soon as i get some ideas flowing!

dermer4ever I know what you mean it takes me a long time to do it and then some one rates it low is not good. they really don't understand.

xoheartinohioxo Obviously they have no clue what goes into the art making process. I know some people can whip up something in 2 seconds, but it takes me time to really be satisfied with my art.

Laurencia7 I try to rate with an open mind, if it is a beautiful piece, even if I don;t ship the couple. I am going to rate it high. I mean it is only fair to the artist, one wouldn't go into an art gallery and start tearing paintings off the wall because they didn't like them. Try to use some decorum, and remember someone worked really hard on that, unless they are posting someone else's.

Laurencia7 I haven't posted half my stuff because I don't like it, or it gets buried under the mass posts, or I am afraid to.

dermer4ever I always have an open mind when i rate to me it is not about the couple but the artwork.

kathiria82 Leaving rude comments isn`t gonna make people stop rating low, it will either get you in trouble or piss off the person rating low. So many videos in the Leyton spot get rated a 1 but that just encourages me to add even more stuff. Ratings don`t affect me at all.

I'm not a ratings whore or anything, I just thought it was quite odd that only the Peyton/Leyton stuff was getting low ratings! The Brooke/Brucas stuff kept getting good ratings and i want to encourage people to rate stuff unbiasedly.

kathiria82 Well this ratings issue isn`t something new. There are countless articles about it, I think I even wrote one. People will always rate the user instead of the content. They do it to me all the time and I still submit stuff every day.

Laurencia7 their loss if they are going to be that narrow minded...cuz Holly, Terra, and others do exceptional work. and we all collectively add great stuff.

brattynemz First off, I don't rate. I know, my bad. But I rate every video I watch. And I watch videos quite often, and unsurprisingly, every Brucas related video is rated low while every non Brucas related video is rated a 5. That's just sooo weird. And I think people should prop you for making P/LP art!

kathiria82 I totally get your frustration Holly and if it helps, direct me to your things and I will rate them fairly for you. I don`t mean to start a fight or anything but I would just like to say one thing. L7, you are quite the hypocrite here. Not too long ago, YOU rated one of my Leyton vids a 1 and some others low just because it had Jake or Brooke in it. So practice what you preach kk thnx.
