NO..i had never noticed. we don't really know what goes on behind the set, and we don't follow them around their lives, so there is no way of knowing. i hope this has nothing to do with the fact that he had luke choose peyton...?? cuz it kinda seems like thats what ur hinting at..

He seems pretty nice to all of them...

Not necessarily Hilarie.. but Peyton yes. I think that she is an idealized version of a girl (with a lot of himself mixed in) that represents the kind of woman that he or any man would want to be with.

I think he def prefers Hil over the others.

I think more of Peyton and maybe a bit of Hilarie.

Why would he. I think he might favor Peyton over, cause she is the most interesting one and gets the guy. I'm not really sure. I don't think he really needs too though

I agree with nosemuffin definitely.
But I also think he facors Hil b/c honestly I think she kisses his ass more then the others. During S2 it was rumored that Joy and him conflicted over Haley, Sophia and him get along but she doesn't have the same relationship. Hilarie is always complimenting him and talking about how great he is, and he writes for her.
In the commentaries he always talks about the greatness of Hilarie and will rarely mention Sophia and Bethany in the same way.
I mean it's just IMO but yes I definitely thinks he favors Hil/Peyton.

well actually, during the commentaries, sophia sometimes does them with mark..(like the season 3 finale and the school shooting episode)..he spent soooo long complimenting Sophia for everything she did. he doesn't favor sophia or anything but that's just bcuz ElliesOwner said that he rarely says things about sophia. and also, in the s5 commentary for the library episode, he complimented Bethany...

but i agree, maybe he does favor Peyton a little, but i don't think he favors Hil (who knows though..)..i agree with nosemuffin..

I don`t think Hil kisses his ass at all. I just think he prefers her because she gets the best story lines but the others get great story lines too!

He favors leyton, not the actors. I've heard his commentary and he talks about Sophia's acting alot and praises her in almost all her dramatic scenes.

peyton not hil but yeh its like she gets all the good storeylines (peyton not hil) she gets the guy its like in season 1 and 4 its like brooke doesnt matter naley were overlooked in season 5 and it was all about peyton if you look at most seasons its alot about peyton

I think Peyton is his favorite character and that why he gives herthebest storyline.
I dont know about Hilarie cuz we dont get to see too much about what happens on the set but deff he have something with Peyton.

If Mark really love Peyton so much why did he left Hilarie leave in S6 and why did he refused to let Peyton come back on S7? I really started to hate Mark the moment I read this statement:

Hilarie Burton was asked to return various times during seasons 7-9. She responded yes back when season 7 was airing but Chad was too busy, so Mark Schwan had no interest in her returning without Lucas by her side. Every other time she was asked she responded no because of this.

Mark loves Leyton, not Peyton & definitely not Hilarie. Because Chad returned alone..
