I hate that too. Brooke slept with Nathan the same night Nathan and Peyton broke up and she even said herself in season 1 when Haley and Nathan were getting closer that Nathan and Peyton would go back together. So yes they weren't officially together but if my ex boyfriend and my best friend slept together the same night he and I broke up I would be so angry too !

I agree, but I feel like that whole storyline was there just to even the score between Brooke and Peyton. It was kind of out of nowhere. I wish it was brought up earlier.

Let's be real: Peyton was NOT in love with Nathan and Brathan hooked up once, and weren't IN LOVE as L&P claimed to be when they betrayed Brooke (TWICE)

^ Don't take it badly but I think you are acting in bad faith. Maybe Nathan and Peyton weren't that in love but that doesn't make it any right. To me, what happened between Lucas and Peyton in season 3 was not a betrayal. Peyton was honest with Brooke and Brooke took it badly. She kissed Lucas in 3x16 because she thought she would die. Do you even put yourself in her shoes just for a second ? I agree in season 1 what LP did was dishonest and was wrong and everything you want. But Brooke and Nathan sleeping together the SAME NIGHT Neyton broke up is just not done. Here again, would you like this to happen to you ?

I don't care what anyone says. It wasn't as bad. Yes, it was wrong, but it really does come down to how serious Brucas was versus how serious Nathan/Peyton were. Brooke was head over heels in love with Lucas while Peyton, while she cared for Nathan, was just kind of going through the motions, IMO. It wasn't right for Brooke to betray Peyton, but it was a retcon. It was literally pulled out of nowhere for shock value. You never get any kind of sense than Nathan and Brooke were sexually involved until those episodes and it was just such a bad story line. So no, I can't compare what Lucas and Peyton did to Brooke to Brooke drunkenly fucking Nathan.

the ONLY reason that so called "story line" was ever created is just to EVEN out brooke & peyton to make it seem "fair", because so the fans stop keep hating on peyton so much, they did it so that leyton could actully work nd the fans just eat it up. so of course i disagree since its a FAKE story line, very clear done LAST minute.

i agree with Seddie4Ever, plus even in the FAKE story line peyton & nathan were're BROKEN OFF, unlike what REALLY happned, peyton almost slept with her best friend boyfriend WHILE they were STILL IN A REALTIONSHIP and conffesed her love yet AGIN WHEN THEY WER'RE STILL IN A RELATIONSHIP
