Who gets the guy in the end? cuz idk who Betty and Veronica are..but after reading that and your description, it sounds similar

Not sure, I think it went on, and on and no one knew.

sure but only because im a brucas fan and archie was always into veronica more than betty- betty was usually his choice when veronica was not available or when he was mad at veronica for going on dates with reggie.

plus- in the early 1950 comics betty was in the comics before veronica's character was introduced. and betty had a crush on archie but was mostly just a good friend to him, but archie never really returned the feelings (they were friends but nothing romantic til the later years). and then veronica was introduced a year or two later in the comics and archie was her boyfriend and then betty would try even harder to win over archie's affections and that was when the love triangle began.

so in the sense that veronica was almost always archie's number one, he just stuck with betty many times because it was safe and she obviously was crazy about him...in the sense that archie was veronica's boyfriend and then betty decided she wanted him (even though they were just friends) and wanted to win him back....then yes the archie/veronica/betty love triangle reminds me of the lucas/brooke/peyton love triangle.

but lucas is nothing like archie, and brooke and peyton are nothing like veronica and betty except for their hair color (especially peyton....she is nothinggg like betty. i may not be a huge peyton fan but shes wayyy cooler than betty).

ok so maybe i was a big fan of archie comics growing up...haha

^ good analysis glad to Hear Peyton is way cooler...I just thought there were some similarities, didn't think MS got his story from Archie comics...LOL

Brooke is like Veronica(brunette,rich,popular)
Peyton is like Betty(blonde,not rich but not poor,pretty,nice)
Lucas is like Archie(guy that has BFFs liking him)

And overall,Brooke/Lucas/Peyton are like Veronica/Archie/Betty(love triangle)!LOL :)
