I love naley now and would die if they werent together but maybe just how peyton and nathan were just for the first couple episodes so we could see what it would be like to have her with someone else

I may be a little biased, because I've never really been a fan of Naley... but I think it would have been great to see Haley with someone other than Nathan, at one point or another. Even with couples that I love, I like seeing their relationships with other people, and seeing why those relationships DONT work out. It makes me appreciate the love that that couple has for eachother that much more, because you see that they can't have a love that strong with anyone else.

For me, LP is a great example. Yes, they have ventured out from eachother, explored other relationships, and even fallen in love with other people. But that doesn't mean that they love eachother any less, or are any less "meant to be". I think it's because of their other relationships not working out, that shows that they ARE meant to be. We've seen that the deep connection, love, comfort, secureness, and trust that they have together... they can't have with other people (Brooke, Jake, Lindsey, Julian).

I think seeing Haley have a failed relationship with someone else would only prove to Naley fans even MORE that she is meant to be with Nathan, and only Nathan. I think that would show that only he can offer her the love that she needs. I feel like because she has only been with Nathan, I will always have that "what if" scenario in the back of my mind... wondering if maybe she could be that happy, and find that same love with someone else. I think that's a big part of why I don't really like or believe in Naley too much. I like to see why couples belong together, instead of with other people. I like to see what great relationship aspects couples share together, that they CANT find with other people. And I don't feel like I ever really saw that with Naley. We saw how Haley fits with Nathan better than Peyton did. But we haven't seen why Nathan fits with Haley, BETTER than another guy does. We never saw Nathan offer her something that any other guy WASN'T able to offer her... because there never was any other guy to compare him to.

So, I've always thought that having couples venture out from eachother only makes them stronger in the end, and helps me appreciate what they have together THAT much more. But that's just me :)

No, i wouldnt have liked to have seen Haley with anybody other than Nathan -as i think that that i sthe whole beauty of Naley. You had this one guy, popular who ha dslept around & at one point or another most probably been with everygirl on the Tree hill Cheerleaders, and then you had Haley this tutor who was a virgin & had no guy expirience -they were oppisite & they changed eachother for the better, Haley changed nathan into being sweet & loving & nathan changed Haley into being mre advernturous & to take risks. I think the fact that we havent really seen them with anyone else (apart from Nathan briefly with peyton -but lets face it we cah nardly call that a relationship)makes Naley who they are, wheras everybody else has swapped around, we only think of Nathan with Haley & Haley with Nathan -i think that it adds to the stability of thm ♥

I kind of like that Haley never had a relationship before Nathan. Thats one of the reasons why Naley is so special to me.

I love that Nathan was the bad boy player in the beginning and Haley was the sweet girl.

I think it just wouldn't suit Haley. She's thye "good girl" - the one who waits for the one guy for, loves him as the first & last, devotes to him with her whole heart.
Waiting for "the one" made special Hales & their relationship. I think it's really something when the first serius relationship is also the last one. That's the meaning of "always & forever". It's so rare these days... I'm glad they made Haley an example of it.
After one failed relationship it just wouldn't be her anymore... She wouldn't be able to say "You are my only one". And that's what I love about them.
@kellyerin87 - I believe that you don't have to "check" other partners to know that you wouldn't get from them what you have with the person you are with. I think even if this is your first relationship you can totally be sure that noone cancomapre to the happiness you have. You don't have to prove it, you are just lucky to know it. But that's just my opinion :-)

Well, Haley was 16 when she fell in love with Nathan! She was quite young then and I doubt she had any significant relationships before... Even if she had, I don't think that I would be interested to watch her with her kindergarten boyfriend!

I think so. I mean, I would probably still end up being a Naley fan, but seeing Haley in other relationship{s} would be amazing! And I don't think about Chris Keller here.

But i really can't ship Haley with anyone besides Nathan, so i had to pick "no". It's weird, because with Nathan, i can imagine him with other girls (even though i always prefer him more with Haley, of course), but with Haley just NO. xD

I don't even like the so famous Dean/Haley crossover between SPN & OTH. Just blah. =S I don't buy it for some reason. =/
