I would like to know what it is about Paramore that appeals to you so greatly.

Hmmm... How should I explain... Well, I think Paramore does great songs within its genre (pop rock/alternative rock). Partly why I really like their songs to is because they somewhat have a different sound compared to other pop rock bands. And you can see the band growing maturely through their lyrics.

Ah yes, the lyrics... I'm not exactly a tagahanga of current mainstream music (Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Boys Like Girls, etc) and that's because I have a problem with their lyrics... And the 'problem' that I'm talking about is how repetitive their songs can be (chorus, theme, etc). Paramore has kept me amazed sa pamamagitan ng how they keep making new songs which sends out different kinds of feelings and messages, whether is a fast song or a slow song. For a pop rock band, I think they're very good at it. The band has helped me a lot when I'm emotionally tired. Their songs cheer me up a lot, especially when I'm having exams. This sounds funny but it's true.

The band's frontwoman, Hayley Williams also play a really big role in Paramore's appeal. Vocally, I think she is really good compared to many other female pop/rock singers. Plus, she has the looks. Her ever-changing hair colour, in a way, keeps the band interesting. lol.

The band is also really good in putting up a live show. They really know what the crowd wants and they have really great stage presence.

Another thing that I pag-ibig about Paramore is how they keep close to the fans. You can see it through their Live Journal and Twitter. Hayley always keep us fans updated through her Twitter, Tumblr and Live Journal. And she does that often. Sometimes, she even goes about in paramoremusic's Live Journal (fan-created) and sagot a few tanong about the band. She even chats with the fans and sagot personal questions. I do think Paramore cares a lot about their fanbase. And lately, I've noticed that Paramore has been bringing some of their fans on stage to sing/play the musical instruments with them impromptu during their live concerts. I find it really sweet of them to do so. They really do know how to connect with the fans. I know some people who thinks that Paramore is not as good as most fans think and I respect their opinions. But sometimes, I think it's unfair when some people compare Paramore to bands like AC/DC, mga baril N' Roses, Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin since these bands are of different musical genres. It's like comparing a hip-hop dance to a ballet, you know what I mean? I'm just saying... *shrugs*

1) Hayley Williams is hot! I mean, you can't deny it!

2) All of the musicians are super talented, they really know what they're doing! (Especially the drummer, he has some awesome runs in there!)

3) The music is great! It's a perfect mix of pop, punk, and rock, and you can't beat it!

Honestly? they dont appeal to me so greatly!
I only listen to them i need to listen to a bit of noise and lyrics that i can relate. For me, they are a current band that play music that it's a little better than what i can listen on the radio, but i would never say that they one of the best bands ever.

And I understand what you mean: ppl seem to go total crazy over them, but i know for a while now that nearly all things that ppl go crazy over arent that great... *cough*justinbieber*cough*

But just to make it clear i'm not bashing on Paramore either, it's just that to me, they are no mga baril n' roses, or muse, or nirvana...

Paramore are extremely talented. I picked that up after hearing them for the first time. I am into that kind of Alternative/Rock/Punk music and Paramore just it!
Hayley is hot, of course! xD But seriously, they are hugely grateful to their fans and that makes me feel good :)
I connect with Paramore's lyrics and relating to them, they have helped me in alot of situations. They are also good people - Great Christians and fully support charities such as TWLOHA and Love146.
