The araw had come. Leila was graduating from high school. She got her diploma. She ended up graduating with honors. After the graduation ceremony, Leila found Rita and talked with her for a while. Rita said, "So, this is it. We're officially done with high school." Leila said, "Yeah. I'm glad that's over." Rita said, "I'm glad about that, too. I really am going to miss you, though." Leila said, "I'll miss you, too." Rita asked, "Are you going to be going far away for college?" Leila said, "No, I'm not. What's amazing about the college I chose is not only can I major in music, but it's a commuter college." Rita asked, "What's a commuter college?" Leila said, "Basically, it is a four taon college that you can go to, and you're not required to live on campus." Rita said, "I wish I had known about that, but the college I chose has a really good education program." When the time came, Rita got ready to leave for her college. She decided to pay Leila a visit. Rita said, "I came to say goodbye." Leila hugged her friend and said, "This isn't goodbye. We can always keep in touch." Rita said, "That's right." The two mga kaibigan exchanged cellphone numbers. Leila said, "I'm sure we'll see each other again someday." Rita said, "I'm sure of that, too." Leila watched as Rita drove away. Leila was happy for her friend, but there was a sadness to her as well. She was going to go to college without a friend. She was glad that she would be living at home. She could snuggle with her puppy, Paul. Leila sinabi to herself, "I may be entering college without a friend, but I can still make new friends."

That night, John had a beautiful dream. He heard someone calling his name. It was a voice he missed so much. He opened his eyes, and he saw Amelia standing susunod to him. He cried, "Amelia!" He got up and hugged her. He said, "I miss you so much." She returned the hug and said, "I know, dear. I know." John wept and said, "I'm so sorry, Amelia. I tried to save you, but I failed. It's my fault that you're gone. It's my fault!" Amelia soothed him. "Shh. It's all right, John. It's not your fault. It was that careless driver's decision to drink and drive. You didn't have anything to do with it." He...

The susunod day, John and his mates made the long drive to visit Amelia's grave. Allen asked, "John, why didn't you get bulaklak to put on her grave?" John said, "People have a habit of stealing bulaklak from graves. I don't know why. On tuktok of that, leaving bulaklak on her grave won't bring her back. I think that visiting is enough." They made it to the cemetery, and they walked to Amelia's grave. John soon saw the grave of the one he loved. It was still in good shape. He said, "Well, there it is." Stan said, "Talk to her." John said, "Talk to what? It's a plot of damo with stone on tuktok of it."...

One day, while the members of The Devil Wants Peace were taking a lunch break, John was so quiet that he made Stan seem vocal. Lenny, the band's manager, said, "John, you haven't been yourself all day. Is something wrong?" John replied, "I just didn't sleep well last night. That's all." Ben, the band's producer, said, "Perhaps you should go tahanan and rest." John said, "Maybe you're right." Later, when John was resting at his house, he heard the doorbell ring. He looked on the security camera to see who it was. It was Peter. John went to answer the door. Peter said, "I came to see if you were...

Hi, everyone! Antonia here, and this might seem a bit premature, but my 20th birthday will be here before we know it. On March 1, I will be twenty. That's less than a buwan away.

I'll be honest. I'm not ready to be an adult. Starting March 1, I won't be a teenager anymore. I have less than a buwan as a teenager. I'll wake up on March 1, and I'll be an adult. I just don't feel ready. Of course, those who are already adults have told me that there's not much difference between nineteen and twenty. I mean, there's nothing I can do on March 1 that I can't do on February 28.

Feel free to send me a birthday message, wish me a Happy Birthday on my wall, or post a picture on my club on March 1. I'm not begging. It's up to you. You can do all of the above if you want. Again, I'm not begging. It's up to you. If you're already twenty or older, feel free to tell me what's it's like. Do you feel like an adult? If so, when did you start feeling like an adult?

Hi, everyone! Antonia here, and I'm happy to say that I have a happier blog to write this time. When I returned to my dorm from class, my aunt called me and told me the funniest story about my puppy, Roscoe. I thought it was too funny not to share.

My aunt let my Aso outside to "do their business". Roscoe really loves the snow. That comes from his Husky side. When she called the Aso to come back in, Roscoe did not want to come back in. He played dead to avoid coming back in the house. My aunt knew what he was doing, because he didn't keep perfectly still like River does when she performs the...

Hi, everyone. Antonia here, and I feel like I am long overdue for posting another blog. I didn't intend on doing a vent blog, but this is real life. I'm doing this for myself, too. I think that getting this all off my chest might help me through all these crap storms.

I've kind of been having a hard time lately. A few weeks ago, I learned that my maternal grandmother is ipinapakita early signs of kidney disease. Now, it's not kidney failure. Kidney disease and kidney failure are actually two different things. You can look up information on this on many different websites. It will scare you, though....

One day, the members of New Religion were eating lunch. As they were finishing up, they heard the doorbell ring. Paul said, "I'll get it." He limped to the door. The doorbell rang again. He said, "I'm coming. Give the crippled dude some time, will ya?" He opened the door, and Rosa was standing there. She said, "Paul, I just heard your song. It made me think that I should have appreciated your honesty. You're the most honest guy I've ever met." Paul said, "Oh, that sounds so close to an apology, but you're not quite there yet. Goodbye." He tried to shut the door, but Rosa stopped him. She said,...

Shortly after New Religion's album was released, Paul was able to put pressure on his ankle. He still had to rest it as much as possible, so he didn't go out much. One evening, while his mates were out getting hapunan to bring home, Paul heard "I Could've Lied" on the radio. He wondered if Rosa had heard it yet. Just then, he heard his cellphone ring. He reluctantly hobbled over to his dresser to answer it. It was his mother. She said, "I just heard your song on the radio. Was your breakup with Rosa the reason you wrote it?" He said, "Yes, Mother." She asked, "What truth did you admit?" He said,...

Paul woke up the susunod morning before dawn. A song came to his mind, and he knew that if he didn't write it down, it would slip away from him. Not wanting to wake his mates, he reached over to turn on the lamp. He reached for his notebook and pen, and he began to write one of his best songs yet:

"It hurt me deeply,
That you did not appreciate my honesty.
I did my best to be up front with you.
You didn't have to hurt me.
I didn't want to hurt you.
You know that I could've lied
And kept it all inside.
If I had lied, you would've been proud of me.
But I wouldn't have been proud of myself.

Oh, you...

Paul opened his eyes and saw John rushing to him. John had a concerned look on his face. He asked, "Paul, are you okay?" Paul groaned and said, "No." John asked, "Where does it hurt?" Paul replied, "My ankle is killing me. It's hard to ilipat it." John asked, "Do you think it might be broken?" Paul said, "I'm afraid so. I heard this horrible cracking sound, and the susunod thing I know, I feel unusually warm, and the room appeared darker." John said, "The intense pain must've gotten to you. Do you think you can walk?" Paul said, "I'll try." He tried to stand, but the intense pain in his ankle made...

John and Paul headed out. On the way to Rosa's apartment, Paul rehearsed what he intended to say. John said, "I think you're ready." Pretty soon, Paul was sweating. John asked, "Are you nervous?" Paul said, "Yeah." John said, "It's going to be all right. I'll be with you." Paul said, "I'm worried that it won't go well. What will my mother think?" John said, "It's your life, Paul. You can't live it the way others want you to." Paul said, "It's hard being an aromantic asexual." John said, "I wouldn't know, Paul." Paul asked, "Then, why aren't you married?" John said, "It's just that I don't want...

The members of New Religion had been discussing Pagsulat new songs for a new album. The members of The Devil Wants Peace happened to be in town on tour, so they decided to pay their mga kaibigan a visit. Paul was not his usual self. He hadn't been himself since his beloved Husky, Yukon, passed away. Paul still had Nunavut, but Yukon was his "four-legged best friend". He had that gray and white Husky for thirteen years. Now he was gone. To make matters worse, Paul was in a relationship, and he was miserable. He let out a long, audible sigh. "Is there something wrong, Paul?" Erin asked with concern....
