Penguins of Madagascar Article: PoM Comic Books Better Than Episodes?

I'm pagbaba some of the synopsises of the PoM comic books on Madagascar Wikia, and some are better than the real episodes!

Issue 1: Synopsis - "Join the Penguins of Madagascar on an all-new mission! When the Penguins discover that the zoo's new platypus Mia has been separated from her eggs, they put their military minds together to hatch a plan for a Great Escape - back to her native Australia! Goodbye New York, Hello adventure!"

Issue 2: Synopsis - "Stranded in Brazil, Skipper enlists the help of some unusual locales, including a snake named Jose who is anything but, in order to reunite his dispersed team of ibong dagat paratroopers, but will the mission diversion keep them from completing their original objective of returning Mia, the duck-billed platypus, to her native tahanan of Australia?"

Issue 3: Synopsis - "Traveling in a Rico-made flying machine that has no business being airborne, the ibong dagat posse crash lands in China, some 4000 miles off course. Discovering that their map has been stolen, the gang must hunt down the most dangerous animal on the continent in order to retrieve it and continue their push into Mia's homeland of Australia."

Issue 4: Synopsis - "After abandoning ship and swimming the remainder of the way to Australia, Skipper and his recruits learn that a human-built irrigation system has placed Mia's platypus eggs in danger, prompting them to attempt to dismantle the elaborate contraption, but will Operation: Irrigation Confrontation be enough to keep the un-hatchlings safe?"

Who says that Mia and/or Jose should be in the episodes, or they make a movie about this?!? :D

SJF_Penguin2 I have copies of some of these comic books and am awaiting a backorder to collect the final installments. I have found what I have read so far to be entertaining, and perhaps a bit edgier than what is typically depicted on the show in some regards. It would indeed be interesting to see the plot of the "Operation: Wonder from Down Under" comic series occur in an episode. I wonder also who Nickelodeon would get to voice Mia. I have given Part 1 a rating of four out of five.

Skipper: (Enters the HQ from the hatch, climbs down the ladder, and waddles over to Kowalski’s bunk) Come on, soldier! It’s almost time for the zoo to open! We still haven’t trained yet, so get up.

(Kowalski sighs dramatically, and rolls over on his back)

It was a normal araw at the central park zoo in the summer. The zookeepers that work at the central park zoo including Alice went on their vacation. So inside the penguin's HQ me along with Skipper and his team were relaxing Rico's brushing miss perky's hair as always, Private watching his paborito ipakita on TV, Kowalski working on his invention as always, Skipper drinking his coffee, and me just relaxing. With me relaxing I thought to myself that it's a nice araw for a walk around New York.

Me: *looks at Skipper and his team* well I'm off for my walk if you don't mind.

Skipper: sure go ahead, Kiva....

Yeah...I stopped watching it in German becuz the voice pagganap is much better in English. xP (I swear, once you´ve heard Blowhole in German, you won´t be able to get the WTF look outta your face. xP)

About two weeks had passed since the visit from Leo. Thankfully, the penguins treated me the same way as they would if they had not heard about Billy. I think Skipper ordered them not to say anything. However, I know they knew.

Each of them would shoot a sympathetic glance at me when they thought I was not looking. I have heard Skipper talk to himself about me when everybody was asleep. Fortunately, I was now completely well and could train once more. Unfortunately, Skipper and I argued a lot.

I breathed in the fresh scent of early morning....

Author's Note: For the people, fanguins, cookies, and others who wanted this story to continue. Once again, this has absolutely nothing to do with the holiday season but enjoy!

The first realization I had that I wasn’t dead was voices –familiar, annoying voices. I had never been so glad to hear anyone in my life. “When is he going to wake up, Skipper?”

I knew that voice. I frantically searched in my mind for the name of the speaker. Private. That was his name. Skipper replied. “I don’t know, Private. I don’t know.”

I heard a barely contained sob, and the sounds of another comforting...
