What / who inspired you to start playing the piano?

Chico Marx! He is one of my heros, watching him play was breath taking and when I first saw him play, My mind was made. I would play the piano.

My 7th grade chorus teacher. He inspired me to want to become a chorus teacher myself. I started learning piano in my 8th grade taon and have been playing ever since, picking up new techniques as I go along. :D

Actually my parents signed me up for lessons when I was little. But I wanted to continue it because it just sounded good.

Well I heard a DVD playing piano music. Yep I fell in pag-ibig with it and started playing the piano :)

ive always loved the piano.icould already play the gitara but i wanted to play the piano.so about 8 years nakaraan i got a keyboard for christmas.well,iended up learning how to play it just like i learned how to play the guitar.i just picked it up.no lessons,i just learned sa pamamagitan ng ear.i cant even read music.

I began to learn on my own and I always saw people who play the piano on Youtube on my computer or on my phone and I do it the susunod araw at school in my fourth period class.

Nothing "inspired" me really. My mom's side of the family has always had a bunch of piano players, so automatically I felt like I had (and wanted) to play piano, too... but again, I wasn't inspired sa pamamagitan ng anyone. My desire to play the piano has always been a sort of natural instinct, if that makes sense.

My parents started making me take piano lessons, but I don't feel like I can ever quit because I've been playing for so long.

My mum. I grew up with a piano being in my house and often listened to her playing. One araw my mum asked me (aged eight at the time) 'would you like piano lessons?' and I sinabi 'Yep' and well, there you go! I've stopped having lessons now as I feel I've learnt all I really wanted to learn, I wasn't so keen on the theory and aural practise and stuff and I preferred to try making up my own compositions instead and trying out songs that I really want to be able to play. I still keep in contact with my piano teacher though. When I grow up and have a house of my own I'd definitely like a piano in my home...and a harpsichord. XD

My dad used to play his own songs in front of me, and I thought they were really good and I wanted to be like him, so my parents signed me up for piano lessons. Now I can play the song he made like a natural :)
