I have, my dad says it to me all the time, and it's getting really annoying.

Not that I can remember anyway. But they probably say it because they know how important it is to me. I don't remember ever NOT knowing what Pokemon was. And also, my brother and I don't get along well and it is anime, manga, and games that bring us together XD

I think my mother may have been hinting at it though when she gave my life size charmander to charity T-T

I stopped watching pokemon before they asked me to 'grow up'

All the time.
"Lauren you're a girl, stop playing Pokemon."
"Lauren you're too old to play."
"Seriously Lauren, you need to grow up. You aren't a kid anymore."
It gets so annoying. They tell me that because of Beyblade too. I just wish they would stop, I don't even play it that much anymore.

@LostOblivion When I meant "grow up from pokemon", I meant grow up from it as a whole, not just the anime. This includes the games, manga, and anything else that has to do with it.I don't really care that much for the anime.

@NewAkmal and I meant grow up in general. Also the manga is far more mature then the actual anime so you can 'grow up' and still read it.

That's cool. But I still wish my dad would quit telling me to stop reading the manga or playing the games (I don't think he is aware of the anime) and come to accept the fact that this is what I like to do.

I have NEVER played Generation 2 before, nor have I even played the remakes at all.

Why do i scream for? haha lol. I scream whenever i catch some awesome pokemon or something interesting happens! Also,i screamed a lot alone when Gary beat me in FireRed! (i really hated it) And yeah i have screamed a few times watching the anime especially during the leagues.And of course,screaming just happens x)
