No! Their place is with their mothers. Wild animal cub is not a toy.

That's not called training, it's wild animal's captivity for stupid people's entertainment.

They belong with their mothers and NO where else. I like the story of Knut though....But they are NOT toys. I know a lot (but not everything) about polar bears and I'm smart enough to know that animals belong with wild nature, unharmed.

They belong in the wild and even if you think you have it under control, 9 times outta 10 you prolly don't. the question on being attacked isn't "if" it's "when." It doesn't matter if you raise it from a tiny baby the animal is still instinctual. You can take the bear out of the wild...I think you know the rest.

I wish they could domesticate them, but I'd feel bad about taking them from their natural habitat.

They are so cute! And besides, taking one in and raising it might save it from extinction! Who wants a polar bear to go extinct???

If I had no choice but to adopt it, then I would. for example if it was orphaned. Then again, of course they aren't suitable pets and it isn't even legal to have one as a pet. I think everyone is taking question to seriously, I mean Duh! You could only have a pet polar bear in a perfect world.
