(warning: this may sound ranty) I just cannot get it right! Once I got through the first part of one of the potions, the last two steps were to stir 5 times a certain direction and then use your wand. I did this and it said I failed to do the steps in the right order. Just so hard...I know once I found out there would be potions that I would be terrible. Wizard duels are to bad. Difficult at times but I'll get used to it.

See, the problem is that sometimes the site is glitchy; there's things the PM team still hasn't fixed. You may follow directions exactly and still fail. Don't lose heart, because it may not be you just not getting it right.

It's so difficult to brew potions! I either blow up my cauldron or stir it incorrectly!
I just find spells a lot easier.

ARG!! I waited 45 minutes for a potion to brew and accidentally added the wrong ingredient, so I failed after waiting 45 MINUTES! >:(

^Haha, I just experienced that when I brewed the forgetfulness potion earlier xD.

Honestly, I would say that both are difficult but brewing is a little bit harder especially since you are timed. The most annoying thing with the brewing part tho is those things you'd have to control while holding (mostly the ones in the bottles/containers like the Lethe River Water & the Mistletoe Berries) because you may tend to accidentally put more than the asked amount. :/

Well, about the second part whilst brewing a potion; if you feel that smth went wrong, like you didn't put the right amount or it wasn't in the right order, push the BACK button BEFORE the system says you did it wrong!, it will allow you to restart the 2d part, so you'd be able to finish your potion and you wouldn't feel like you wasted those 40-50 min. in vain :)
Note: you'll be able go go back as long as you have ingredients, once you finish them, you can't restart ;)

I'm absolutely useless at duels but quite good at potions :)

I actually succeed doing one but it takes FOREVER to make it... Spells are definetely easier :)

@carrieicecreaam I did that to. I was so pissed off. I think its a ridiculous amount of time to wait.

I find both easy...in fact i'm pretty good at potions...
