I just watched the Pilot and i loved it. I wanted to ask about the books though. Are worth reading? And the ipakita is based on them 100%?

I haven't read all the books, but the ones I've read are good. No, the ipakita didn't 100% use every detail from the books. But lets face it, no tv ipakita or movie ever does. Read the books and you'll notice that there are a lot of things that are different. The books are generally better but most PLL fans like the ipakita better.

The books are great to read. I have read all of them and they are amazing. The books are a lot different from the show. I like the ipakita better but if u pag-ibig the ipakita u need to read the books!

The books and ipakita are both great, but they are SUPER different. I look at the ipakita as a whole different thing. I personally thought the ipakita was a lot better, but that's just my opinion. There's like 14 books in the series so far and I have no idea if madami are coming out, but I stopped pagbaba them because I've been pagbaba other stuff and there's just so many. There's so many characters in the ipakita that aren't in the books that I can't even listahan them all and it just has a whole different plot. However, I recommend both, but I recommend the ipakita more.
