((And becausemy first post was l33t)) Ooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaan
A shrill voice melting into a deeper tone before fading away.
Diachi woke up, sweating like a pig. He felt around his neck for the noose that wasn't there, instead a yellowing sheet that tangled itself around his body from his kicking and twisting. He had felt the cold wooden floor-boards hard against his back. Somehow he had rolled from the Itami and was laying across the room, with his blankets still attached.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowaaaaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa ann nnn nnn nn!
He was sqautting in an abadoned house. In a ghost town of a rural area. Everything there was old and traditional. There were sliding doors with a floral design that faded into gray stains. Dark molding corners and broken mirrors told Diachi that it hadn't been occupied in years.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowaaaaaaaaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa n!!
He stood up, the sheets lay limp at his exposed ankles. The sound had gotten closer. The sound was there when he first arrived but it was so faint he simply thought it was an owl or some animal taking shelter from the black clouds that were now permanantly hovering over all of Japan.
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowaaaaaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aan nn! !!
'Get out, get out now!' His brain told him. He looked around the sweat turning cold. There was nothing in the room, except him and that sound. He could feel it every time it howled. As if it was just a single note that had taken a life of its own. A haunting, terrifying, living note.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWAAAAAAAAAAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAN NNN NNN NNN !
It was inches away now. It hurt his ears, and gave him a headache. He quickly reached down and grabbed his duffel bag and ran to his shoes at the doorway. With the days like this you couldn't be too safe. Being polite to the empty house was the least he could do to prevent himself from having his soul eaten by its possibly deceased occupants. Rural areas were usually suffocated with really old traditions and anyone who lived against them were frowned upon. Maybe that was why he was being chased out by a sound.

As he thought about this, running clumsily out the door with his shoes in one hand his bag slung over his shoulder, Diachi was reminded of his grandfather. He remembered how he used to rattle on about Diachi making him grandchildren and how the hole family depended on him. He remembered when the old man went on rants when a nearby McDonalds had just opened up. Fussing and cussing about how the generation was getting fatter and fatter and how if Diachi ever ate there he would disown as a grandson.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowaaaaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa ann nnn nnn nn!
He ate there anyway. His grandfather never knew.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowaaaaa aa-
Diachi slammed the door shut just before falling down the front steps of the doorway. It was still night outside, he could only hear the crickets now.
