Should I die my hair? If so, what colour?

I've been talking with the idea of tsokolate brown, but am I to pale for that?
Background info: I am quite short, in my last taon of primary school, have pale skin and wear mostly dark colours.

P.S - You have no idea how hard it was for me trying to keep a straight face when I took that photo. I was just being an idiot, saying to myself "Work the hair, work the hair" and I just burst out laughing. It took me about seventy attempts because I kept cracking up. I picked this one cause I thought I looked quite wise. Ha ha, just jokes!

Right now it is a sort of strawberry-blonde. I am liking the idea of a reddy-brown, maybe kastanyas or browny copper... Not sure...
