Partially. You're on the right track here, but some of your steps are somewhat contradictory.

But you're right when you say 'block and report' and ignore.

Telling your parents about cyber bullying isn't really gonna help because what can they do. They don't know the people doing the bullying anymore than you do. Probably less.

Saving evidance? I'd agree if the bullying was in some way criminal. And I mean something greater than calling someone names or something as, I'll use the word, trivial as that. But for the most part, no. It's just a waste of space.

Like I sinabi before, you're headed in the right direction, but a few of your thoughts weren't quite thought through well enough.

On the brighter side, it was nice of you to try to post some notes on what to do if cyber bullying happens to you. Don't give up because of one minor setback. Just research madami susunod time.

I agree totally with Delilah_Scruggs, but I have a couple of madami things to add.

First, when you post a tanong and ask at the end of it "Was this information helpful?", don't hate on everybody who says "no". You asked a yes or no question. Don't be mad when the answer is 'no'.

Second, grammer is important. Some people on this site is from parts of the world that use English as a segundo language. Misspelled words are hard for them to understand. Now I know that eveybody makes mistakes. I don't look up every word I type and I know I've made some spelling errors. But if you're not sure of the spelling, get a dictionary and look it up.

The main thing I wanted to add to Delilah's statement is 'Don't hate the people who answer your question.' If you're not careful you're going to turn into the very thing you're trying to warn others about.

Just a few thoughts to ponder. I agree with Delilah about you having the right idea, but not doing enough research. Like the old saying goes: "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again."

On the surface, this payo looks workable, but as others have pointed out there are several flaws:

- Number 1 tells us to tell an adult- why? They don't know the bully.
- I think number two is partially right. Don't print it, but keep it in a ligtas place so you can refer to it.
- Block and report..? ulat is OK, but blocking means they can't send you messages. That's it. So they can still post on your pader etc.
- Making a new account is kind of cowardly, and you'd need to tell your fans etc, which means the bully would find out too. :/
- Ignoring them contradicts everything you sinabi above! Unless you meant don't take any comments to heart. If that's the case, you should rephrase it susunod time.

So, no, this information was not useful. Most people, in my experiance, feel better if they confront the bully. That's what I do, and it works better, 'cause if you don't, the bully can keep coming back when you just ignore them.

1) Being a tattletale will only enrage the cyberbully madami and may make him or her lash out in real life.

the wise thing to do would be to use your words, tell this bully what he is doing is very hurtful and that they wouldn't like it if you were the one doing this to them. If they continue after that, ignore them. the only time you should ulat them is when they start posting pictures, personal information, or threats, but then ulat it to the proper authorities, not the website. Just remember that if someone posts a lie, the truth lies with God and you, who cares what people say about you.
