How do I tell my friend she can't sing?

"Shut the fuck up before you sound like Rebecca Black".

"Shut up before you kill the neighbors, you sound like Justin Bieber, only madami masculine."

You should record or videotape her pag-awit and make her listen to it.

Take it easy and tell her "You.....can't.....sing."

"..Dude,shut.the.FUCK.up."

oh gosh! i've been there before!, i wouldn't be too harsh because you don't want to fall out with her, just sort of pull faces when she's singing, like you're trying to enjoy it but subtly make it obvious that you don't, then when she asks what's up just be like "OH..er nothing..you sound..great." but deliberately be a really bad liar, and i'm sure she'll put two and two together. :)

Tell her the following:
OMFG you sound like a group of mga kuting being stabbed to death PLEASE stop it! I'd rather drive scissors into my ears than listen to the sh-LOL Just kidding.
Suggest some voice lessons, she'll take the hint

my friend does the same thing maybe u can tell her u got a little head ake then she might stop or tell her to please stop i just want to talk

Tell her she's making yours and anyone around ears bleed because of that screeching she calls singing. :)

Ask her if she wants to be a singer when she's older, if she says yes, then tell her that in that case she should get pag-awit lessons, to get her voice properly trained.

Ah, that's crap. I don't know. I'm not the kind of person that breaks the bad news, I'm usually the one staying all positive and optimistic, I don't like to tell people that they can't do something. *bites lip*.
She's your friend right? So maybe you should just tell her as nicely as you can. She may be mad at you, but she may know it already, but is jealous of you. So she's got this huge ego to make herself feel better. That sounds likely.

tell her she sounds awesome . then Recored her pag-awit - then she can hear how bad she sounds . Without having to actully tell her ... but geting the message across

For a segundo a thought you were one of my mga kaibigan outside of Fanpop, I would just break it to her nicely.

Tell her to try and stay madami in her range. And maybe tell her to get some voice lessons. But tell her to get voice lessons because she's good so it doesn't hurt her.

Wait, no, that failed miserably...

I have no idea, it's the same thing with my best friend. If she tries to sing just a little bit high, her voice cracks and it sounds awful..and she's a high saprano in my chorus, and she always sits susunod to me and she's so loud. So yeah, chorus is torture for me.
And I have no idea how to tell my friend, she'd get pissed at me if I told her. >_>

That's just like my sister, she's not terribly horrible, but i'm way better than her, so when ever I sing and she's around she tries to sing with me & it messes me up!

Here's what I told my friend.
"Dude, stfu. No offence, but you can't sing."
Yeah, I can sing, and she ALSO tries to over power me.

Tell her: "Dude...my ears are bleeding. Can you please shut up?" I will totally do that...

or if you are serious, then simply tell her her voice can reach that notes. If you don't tell her now, then someone will do in the future and she would feel worse then.

*sigh* this happened to me to, i just suffered though it. or everytime she sings you could ask her to stop, eventauly she will get the hint

Tell her that she has a nice voice, but it isn't suited for most songs she hears. Or tell her simply that she is a good friend, but her pag-awit isn't exactly soothing..

Let me tell you my story. I am in a group with my 3 best friends. 1. Of my mga kaibigan is a great singer. I am right under her. But then there are the other two. one who we'll call , has a very deep voice that just goes nowhere and it sounds like she is tone death but she is not. its just her voice. But she is sweet and doesn't do anything egotistical. Then there is the other girl. we'll call her T. So T has a very pitchy voice and its high and annoying. If she was like D then there wouldn't really be a problem but she told us all that she is the best singer in 704( T, D, and I are in that class and A is in 702). She also tells else that she can hit every note from high near whistle to medium. the problem is...she can't. It just doesn't sound right. So, after awhile, I got fed up with it and told her she can't sing. Straight up at the lunch mesa in front of everyone. We were having a pag-awit competition between her and I just for fun but she started getting really competitive and said. See J, I'm gonna win because I sing way better then you. I can sing higher notes and my voice is just really great. A and I have talked about this problem with T before and were discussing ways to tell her but I looked in her eye And with a look that sinabi "I've had it" Then turned to her and yelled not too loudly. " T. YOU HAVE TO STOP WITH THIS 'IM THE BEST AND I CAN SING IT ALL GREATLY' ATTITUDE. YOU CAN NOT HIT EVERY NOT YOU THINK YOU CAN BECAUSE YOU CANT SING. YOU CANT SING T. YOU THINK YOU CAN BUT YOU CAN NOT. AND WHAT MAKES THIS EVEN WORSE IS YOUR I SING BETTER THAN YOU ATTITUDE BECAUSE YOU WANNA KNOW THE TRUTH, THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT SING WORSE THAN YOU BUT...I. AM. NOT. ONE. OF. THEM. WE WENT THROUGH THIS IN FIFTH GRADE WHEN WE HAD THAT SERIOUS COMPETITION BETWEEN THE TWO OF US AND THREE OF OUR mga kaibigan JUDGED.AND WHO WON...TELL ME T WHO WON...OH RIGHT. IF I RECALL CORRECTLY I WON SO YOU NEED TO TAKE YOUR HOPEFULLY NOW BROKEN EGO AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR A** AND TAKE SOME VOCAL LESSONS OR SOMETHING.
