To me, pag-ibig is a needed emotion. pag-ibig is what makes you want to protect someone or something, to want to always be with that someone or something.
pag-ibig brings people together, it protects people. It may hurt us at times, but it protects us also. You fight to protect those you pag-ibig no matter what the cost.
pag-ibig in any form is the key to survival, you just can't do anything if you aren't doing it out of love.
