Do you believe that when we sleep our spirits travel somewhere else?

I know that dreams are a product of your subconscious trying to figure out anxieties that plague your conscious mind, but i'm wondering if there's madami to that.
I remember having a dream where i was falling from a cliff. One moment i was screaming and falling and the susunod i was standing in my room and actually observing my sleeping self. I started to hear those screams coming nearer and nearer until i saw a madami formless, transparent version of myself falling into my sleeping body. And than i woke up in my kama and body instead of outside it.
It's a prevalent them in myths all over the world so it might not just be me.
Have any of you ever had dream like that?

Hmmm... Do you feel dizzy constantly? Do you have a hard time focusing on stuff(ex. school) lately?
Vomiting? Headaches???
If you have these symptoms you should see a neurologist. Really. You may have a brain tumor or a cerebral aneurysm.
Or it could have been just a dream. Anyway, no, I don't believe that. Dreams mainly occur in the rapid-eye movement (REM) stage of sleep—when brain activity is high and resembles that of being awake. So it makes no sense, because if our spirits wouldn't be there, we would be in some kind of coma. Not half awake.
Anyway, this is just my opinion :)
P.S.: I was serious with the neuro control. You just never know...

You might want to if you want to think survival after death is a possibility. But if you are an atheist and happy the way you are, that's okay too.

Maybe the spirit only ventures out of the body sometimes.

well similar to yours but i didn't fall of a cliff.
i saw myself while asleep just a few blocks outside my house, and i kicked a stone and fell but my sleeping body felt like as if my head hit the ground! i woke up at once and i asked my mom that question, she sinabi it could mean spiritual.

Yes, I do believe that when we sleep our Spirits travel outside our bodies, but I don't remember having a dream this awesome.

My dreams are usually about my paborito characters, creepy forests, Elves, demons trying to kill me and haunted houses.
Sometimes my dreams get walang tiyak na layunin as hell though and they become hilarious. XD

I dunno, but sometimes when I get hurt in dreams it happens in real life (to a lesser extent usually)

Examples:
-When I was really little, I had a dream that a snake bit my nose, and my nose hurt when I woke up
-I had a dream about a buwan nakaraan that I got shot in the head (but I was revived 83) and I woke up with a really bad headache
-Sometimes when I get bruised in dreams I wake up with bruises o.o;

But my dreams are usually wacky occurances, or madami lately based off a Hetalia MAD series (The Hetalia fans out there probably know RomaHeta...)(But whenever I take damage in the latter, I wake up with a headache or madami bruises)

And once, when I was kinda transitioning between two dreams, I happened upon my bedroom in the middle of it and suddenly woke up startled.

I believe that we do. I had a dream quite similar in nature to that one you told me. It started out that i was sick and took a nap one day. When i began to dream i saw myself as if i was right over tuktok of my own bed, just floating there, watching my sleeping self. It was weird and i also had this dream where i was flying around my room and when i landed matunog na halik into my own body, i woke up. Who's to say that our dreams are not reality and reality is not our dreams?
