Jailbreak or no jailbreak? :/

I really want to jailbreak my ipod touch which will give me access to apps that mansanas hasn't sinabi ok to,full costomization options,and be able to install unsigned pirated software.

but...
the downside is that it isnt completely ok..
mansanas doesn't let us do things like this for a reason.
once you jailbreak your device its open to malware and viruses,it can become a bricked device (where you are forever unable to use it)i could loose my warranty,and new magpabago won't get to me very quickly...

I just want to know..do you think it's worth it?
