She gets quickly overlooked or labelled as weak and pathetic.

Dang, calm down satan-viewers. She is severely bullied and bottles up her emotions. I give her pagpaparangal for not giving up and actually trying to do things. Sure, she doesn't succeed and is clumsy with her attempts, but it takes guts for someone under emotional distress like she is to not give up with life. She literally got chucked into the situation she was ibingiay in episode 1 with no choice, can you honestly say that you in that situation would be a complete badass? No, you'd be like her, awkward, confused and not sure how to help, if you even should that is. Not everyone in life is the hero that never finds themselves in trouble or in need of saving. Her character is a very sad one, but realistic. She has courage.

Well alot of people barely glance at hentai or ecchi animes automatically assuming they are trash because of the content in them. Same with yuri,yaoi,etc. Alot of times hentais have good stories. But some people never get that and only watch for getting themselves off.

An example of an ecchi anime that people constantly overlook is Highschool of the Dead. It has a decent story but it's too ecchi and perverted for some.

Practically most nerdy and/or geeky things are usually over looked because of assumptions. Essentially the only reason why so many comics are being adapted in Hollywood is because they are running out of ideas of what to produce.

I am sure you have seen shitty pelikula like Sharknado. the very idea of it is moronic tbh.
